Cocktail Attire

The ceremony will be held in Kempner Park and the reception at the Garten Verein. The Garten Verein is in Kempner Park.

The wedding venue has a small parking lot and there is ample street parking.

The plan is for the ceremony to be held in Kempner Park, but we will move it inside should we get rain.

We recommend arriving 20 minutes before the ceremony so you can park, orient yourself to the venue, and join us for the ceremony.

The average temperature in November varies between 61.3 degrees and 68.9 degrees. If you’re from Texas, this is a bit chilly. If you’re from up north, this is balmy. Temperatures have been unpredictable (snow in February 2021!!), so check the weather before you pack.

Please don’t because we’ll have food and drink for you at the reception! We will serve passed appetizers and a sit down dinner, with wine, beer, iced tea, water, and coffee to drink. Please communicate any dietary needs so we may accommodate them.

We invite everyone to grab a post wedding celebratory drink directly after the reception! Location TBA. And we hope you’ll join us for coffee and pastries the next morning at The Schaefer Haus.
