What should we expect for the weather?
In Montana, June is the transition from spring to summer, with early June being more springlike and wet, and the middle of June being warmer with temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Occasionally, an afternoon shower may pass through. The average weather in Darby, Montana in June is sunny with highs near 65°F and lows in the mid 40s. While June snow is rare, it's not unprecedented in the Rockies.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Dressy Casual Attire. In general, the temperatures in Montana are unpredictable so layers are a good idea. The temperature will cool off during the evenings. We'll be inside for the wedding and for the reception so we'll be cozy and warm. There will be live music to dance to at the reception so wear your dancing shoes.
What is the story with the optional activities?
We thought it would be a nice way for our friends and families to connect while enjoying the beauty of Montana. Of course, all of the activities on Thursday and Friday are optional but please join if you can. When you RSVP, you can indicate which activities you'd like to participate in. We will provide the details regarding exact timing and meeting locations as we get closer to the wedding. The "Schedules & Activities" website page will be updated accordingly.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Sure! Kids are welcome. Thanks for letting us know all kiddos who are coming when you RSVP.
May I bring a plus one?
As much as we'd love to, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation.
Are the wedding and reception areas wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Please let us know if you'll need wheelchair access.
Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! We don't expect anything. If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can go to the "Registry" page on this website.
