We ask the rooms are paid by June 1st when possible.

This is a summer event - we realize it will probably be hot!

Saturday Evening:

Ladies, we recommend a summer dress (think sun dress, forals, etc). You can absolutely wear pants, shorts, or a skirt with a nice shirt. Pretend you're going out for fun ladies evening! Wear something you will feel beautiful in, but can still have fun! Please refrain from wearing all-white (patterns are great)!

Men, we recommend you wear a nice shirt (think button-up) and nice shorts or pants. Again, we don't want you to melt!

Sunday Day:

Bring clothes and shoes that you can be comfortable in for the activities you plan to do! Sturdy footwear such as sneakers, a layer for the top of the gondola, a raincoat in case it rains, etc.

This is an overnight event, so make sure to bring a change of clothes for Sunday and something to sleep in. Also any toiletries you might need, toothbrush, hairdryer if possible (limited number available) etc. We will supply food and drinks!

Marcus and Katie have paid upfront to book the entire mountain hotel from Saturday to Sunday. Therefore, payment would be made directly to them at a cost of 70 CHF per person.

Ideal payment methods are:

Twint (Swiss residents only) to Marcus or Katie's Swiss #.

Wise (Bank transfer with low fees). Message us for bank details.

Cash (ideally in advance so we can reserve your room type).

Venmo (USA $ only) to Katie @katguzz

If you need information regarding how to pay, please contact Marcus or Katie. Please include your name and/or text us once you've paid so we can keep track!

If necessary, we would also accept cash in the form of CHF, EUR, or USD, but please let us know in advance if you intend to pay with cash.

Since space is limited, we can only confirm your spot once payment is received. If we reach capacity, priority will go to those who have paid first. If we are unable to accommodate you due to space constraints, we will fully refund your payment. Additional overnight options can be found in town at the Hotel Panorama (2 minutes walk from C'est la Vie).

You can select your room preference in your RSVP (click the RSVP tab). We will do our best to accommodate your request, but ultimately room assignments will be based on availability, and we may need to maximize space as needed.

If you have strong concerns about your room or would prefer additional privacy, limited additional hotel space is available in town at Hotel Panorama (2 minutes walk). Please note that the gondola to Meiringen terminates at 7:30pm.

You are our gift! We aren't expecting any additional gifts! If you'd like to contribute towards our honeymoon fund, we would certainly appreciate this, but there is 0 expectation! Especially as you are already paying for your bed(s)!

No, you don't need to sign up in advance! You can decide on the day and based on the weather. Marcus and Katie will most likely opt for the visit to Alpen Tower and Trotti Bikes.
