Fun Lake Activities

Mirror Lake is a "no motor" lake, but there are still opportunities to get out on the water! One of Katie and Evan's favorite hobbies is to either tube or kayak on the lake. Listed below are rental companies nearby that have tons of services including kayak, paddle board, paddle bike, paddle boat, and boat rentals. If water flotation devices aren't your thing, you can always swim at your own risk around the whole lake, or swim with lifeguards at the beach!

Lake Placid is a separate lake, and this lake does allow motors. If you're looking for a little more thrill, there are boat tours and boat rentals here as well.

Short Hikes

There are endless opportunities to hike in the Adirondacks, but in all honesty please stay off the high peaks. We know you all, and there are less than 10 guests that we can think of who are equipped enough to hike the high peaks. PLEASE stick with these short hikes if you feel like you need to explore nature this weekend.

- Cobble Hill (~2 miles uphill) This is where Evan proposed to Katie!

- Henry's Woods (~2.5 miles flatland)

- Heaven Hill Trails (~2.5 miles flatland)

- John Brown Farm (~1 mile flatland)

- Cobble Lookout (~3 miles mostly flatland)
