It all started May 2019. I was working crazy hours at a lakeside restaurant called the Twisted Oar, and Hayden was in Georgia for a summer internship, visiting from Oxford, Mississippi (Go Dawgs!).I had become good friends with some of his high school friends—shoutout to Cooper and Olivia—without even knowing of Hayden yet. ***Fun fact: Haydens twin brother Dalton matched up Cooper and Olivia in High School***One day, while hanging out with them they said, “We have someone you have to meet. You’re literally the girl version of him.” Intrigued? Absolutely. Nervous? Of course.Not long after, I got a text from Liv:"Hey, we’re going out on the boat and your boy is going to be there. Wanna come?" Umm, yes.We were both a little shy at first (if you know us, you get it), but we slowly started to talk—and something just clicked. A few days later, the same crew came to the Twisted Oar and asked to sit in my section. When I saw Hayden, I totally panicked and begged another server to take them instead. But let’s be real—I couldn’t help checking on their table anyway.Right before they left, I walked over one last time and noticed Cooper and Olivia trying not to laugh. That’s when Hayden handed me a Styrofoam cup with his number on it and said,“This is for you.”Our first date was on May 31st, and we made it official on June 15th. We did the long-distance thing for a bit while Hayden finished his last semester at Ole Miss. After graduation, he moved back to Georgia and started working night shifts, while I was juggling school and weekend shifts at the Oar. With opposite schedules and barely any time together, we decided to move in together—and it was the best decision we ever made.Since then, we’ve:-Learned how to cook (kind of), doordash is still our BFF&lt;3-Adopted the love of our lives, our fur baby Sky (who’s now 4 and knows she runs the house, our pockets, and bed)-How to live with your significant other-Grown into the best version of ourselves—together Fast forward six amazing years together, and Hayden pulled off the sweetest proposal at my families yearly summer vacation, surrounded by both of our families. Now, we’re counting down the days until we say “I do,” and we couldn’t be more excited to have you all there to celebrate the beginning of our forever. 💍✨

For the ladies:Cocktail dresses, knee-length dresses, or floral midi dresses are perfect. Very demure🤌🏼The ceremony will take place on grass. For the gentlemen:Suits are welcome but not required. Since it’s June, a sport coat with slacks is perfectly appropriate.
