Travel

Welcome to Colorado!

Getting to Dillon/Keystone from Denver International Airport is very easy! From the airport/Denver, simply hop on I-70 West which will take you all the way into Dillon/Keystone. From I-70, there are two main routes you can take to get you there. One of the routes is slightly longer distance-wise, but time-wise they are the same. It takes ~1.5 hours to reach Dillon from Denver.

**It is important to note that I-70 is essentially the only way to get to the mountains, so weekend traffic heading west can be atrocious (think 1-2 hours additional travel time). Since our wedding is on a Friday, we STRONGLY encourage you make your way to Dillon/Keystone on Thursday, or leave early Friday morning. If you think you are going to fly into Denver on Friday afternoon and then drive to Keystone, you will probably miss the wedding!**

US-6 W/ Loveland Pass (The Scenic Route)

photo

US-6 W is a scenic mountain pass that takes you up and over the continental divide and gives you panoramic views of the front range. This is the most direct/shortest route, but due to the nature of the road it will be a slower ascent. The roads are winding and steep in some areas, but they are completely paved and maintained and suitable for all vehicle types. We highly recommend driving the pass while you are here to experience the breathtaking and unforgettable views!

From Denver, Take I-70W for ~54 miles. Take exit 216 for US-6 W/ Loveland Pass. Stay on US-6 W for 8 miles until you reach Arapahoe Basin. Follow US-6 W for another 6 miles to reach Keystone, or another 12-13 miles past Arapahoe Basin to arrive in Silverthorne.

Silverthorne/ US-6 E (The "easy" route)

If a "scary" winding mountain pass isn't appealing to you, you can continue on the highway past US-6W as a back way route which is a longer distance but will get you there in the same amount of time:

Continue on I-70W for ~11 miles past US-6W/Loveland Pass. Take exit 205 for US-6 E and turn left onto Blue River Parkway (this will take you into the town of Silverthorne). Continue to follow signs for US-6E and you will reach Keystone in ~6 miles, or continue on to Arapahoe Basin for another 6 miles past Keystone.

Shuttle services/rental cars

If you are flying in, we highly recommend renting a car. There are shuttle services available from Denver International Airport into Summit County if you do not want to rent a car, but transportation around our venue is limited and there are not many ride sharing options once you get there (think small mountain town).

We recommend contacting Fresh Tracks or SummitCove for shuttle options. Both companies are offering discounted shuttle services for our guests for transportation from Denver International Airport to Summit County. SummitCove is also offering discounts on rental cars. If you are interested in these options, please call them directly and mention that you are guests at our wedding.
