Matt and Laura both grew up on the East Coast - Matt from the suburbs of New York and Laura on a small island in Georgia. Matt and Laura both moved to Denver, Colorado where they would eventually meet. In 2021, as the pandemic and lockdowns were starting to slow down, Laura and Matt found each other on Bumble. Little did Matt know, it was actually Laura's sister, Emily, who was swiping and sending the first messages from Laura's phone. Matt and Laura's first date was at Bull and Bush Brewery where they instantly hit it off. More dates would soon follow and it was not long before they fell in love. Laura knew that she wanted to marry Matt when he attended Laura's mediocre musical theater production three times in a row, each time with flowers in hand. Matt knew that Laura was the one the first time when she ordered a gin and tonic on their first date.

Matt and Laura share an intense love of both food and travel, so they decided to take a trip to Hawaii together. Fast forward to October 2022, Matt proposed to Laura on a beach in Kauai at sunrise. Today, Matt and Laura live together in Denver with their beloved and very annoying dog Rosie.

They can't wait to have a whole fun-filled weekend with their closest friends and family in Cancun, Mexico!
