The Cancun airport is the best option to get to the resort, Sandos Cancun. The Cancun Airport is the most traveled airport in the Caribbean and has non-stop flight options from most major U.S. airports.

Cancun International Airport is located around fifteen to twenty minutes from Sandos Cancun, which makes it the most convenient option.

Airport Transportation Information:

Our recommended provider for transportation from the Airport to the hotel is USA Transfers. This shuttle service costs around $ 40 USD each way for two people and they will take you directly to the resort. This service needs to be booked ahead of time and you will find the USA transfers team upon your arrival once you are done going through customs. Laura and Matt have used this service and they believe it is well worth the price. There will be many people at the Cancun Airport trying to convince you to go with them instead of your planned service. It is advised that you ignore all these people and find the USA transfers team.

Alternatives to USA transfers: Happy Shuttle Cancun. This shuttle company is similar to USA Transfers, with similar pricing.

There is an option to book a transfer service directly from the Roomblock website. This option is slightly more expensive and Laura and Matt have not used this service before, and therefore cannot guarantee the quality of the service.

Taxi: We do not think a Taxi is the best method to get from the airport to the resort as there could be drivers that take advantage of tourists. However, if desired, this method could be slightly cheaper to get to the resort, as it costs approximately $30-35 USD each way for two people. It is recommended that this is discussed with the driver prior to getting into the Taxi.
