Resort Info

Sandos Cancun

Sandos Cancun is a small all-inclusive resort in the heart of Cancun's Hotel Zone. This is a great location as it is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in all of Mexico and is widely considered to be located in the safest part of Cancun. This 200-room resort has many of the same amenities as larger resorts, including 5 restaurants (see food and drink section below), 24/7 room service, 2 to 3 bars, a full spa, pools, and day/night entertainment.

The resort is also just minutes away from off-resort nightlife and daytime excursions - please read the "Things to Do" section for more information.

Restaurants

Buffett (Zango)

We think the buffet is one of the best options to eat as they have several different food options for all meals.

Open: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

St. Trop (Poolside)

Lunch- Basic American/Mexican food- Laura and Matt like the Mexican options such as the tacos.

Dinner- St. Trop at night becomes a French Restaurant.

Hibachi (Gaijan)

Dinner - Great Japanese Hibachi restaurant on the resort. Reservations are needed and can be made at the concierge desk. Laura and Matt love this place. Matt had such a great time he was doing Tequila shots with the chef.

Frattinis (Italian Restaurant)

Dinner- Classic Italian options, not as good as anywhere you will eat in New York according to Matt, but for an all-inclusive resort in Mexico it is not bad.

Seasons (Steakhouse)

Dinner - This is an Ala Cart restaurant - meaning not included in the all-inclusive rate. Laura and Matt did not eat here as they preferred to take advantage of the free restaurants.

24/7 Room Service

Room service is great at this resort. Some of the best food comes in room service, especially for breakfast. Matt's favorite is the room service Nacho's.
