If you're flying, you're in luck. Flights to Charleston are cheap. Especially from BWI and especially if you fly Southwest. Just make sure you book well in advance. The wedding is on a Friday, so we'd recommend getting in no later than Thursday night. But come whenever. We'll be around early. Stay a while. It's a nice city. If you plan on driving from wherever, be our guest. If you're driving from the Baltimore/Annapolis area, it's about 8.5 hours without stopping. From the Philly area, it's about 10 hours without stopping.

We have heard from many friends and family that they are planning on getting an Airbnb on Folly Island so that they are close to the venue and all of the bars/restaurants on Center St. Regardless, it's looking like people will be staying at multiple locations, which makes organizing transportation a challenge. After much deliberation, we decided not to get a hotel block. Lucky for everyone, there are no shortage of great options close to the venue and Ubers all around Charleston and on Folly are plentiful and very cheap compared to places in the Mid-Atlantic. Airbnb and Vrbo, as well as local companies on Folly that rent places are a great place to start. If that's not your thing, we've got several hotel options that we'd recommend listed below.
