Both the Publick House Historic Inn room block and Hampton Inn Sturbridge room block will be released on September 10, 2024. You will not be able to reserve a room in either block after this date. Please see details in the Travel & Lodging page of this website for information on how to book.
After speaking with the venue’s Sales Office on Monday, they have graciously agreed to add 6 additional rooms to the room block at the venue for Friday and Saturday nights. So if you have not yet booked your rooms yet, there will be three options if you want to stay at the venue:
1. The Tillyer House $289/night Newly constructed in 2018, Standard room with 2 Queen beds
2. The Country Lodge $179/night, a little older but still nice and on the property. Standard room with 2 Queen Beds or 1 King Bed
3. The Publick House Main Building, $239/night. Standard room with queen bed
4. The Chamberlain House - suite $359/night. Newly constructed in December 2015. Deluxe Hotel Suite with King size bed and separate sitting area located in the Chamberlain House next door to the Publick House Inn. (Room can accommodate a 3rd person with the addition of an airbed if requested ahead of arrival.)

We attended the Chef’s Table Wedding Tasting on Monday, April 22, 2024 at the Publick House Historic Inn and we are excited to share that we have decided on the two dinner selections for our reception.
After trying several delicious dishes, we decided that for our “chicken entrée” we are selecting the Orchard Chicken, which is a baked chicken breast with a savory sausage-cornbread stuffing topped with an apple cider sauce. The Orchard chicken will be accompanied by scalloped potatoes and the seasonal vegetable. For the “fish entrée” we have selected the Buttercrisp Scrod, which is a classic New England whitefish that is both flakey and buttery, battered in cracker crumbs, and topped with a flavorful house lemon-dill sauce. The Buttercrisp Scrod will be accompanied by rice pilaf and green beans. The Vegan and Vegetarian entrées will be Chef’s Choice and will be comprised of seasonal produce and flavors. Each table will also include a bread basket of fresh dinner rolls and the Publick House’s famous pecan sweet rolls.
The Publick House Historic Inn features traditional New England-style dining and true Yankee hospitality. The culinary team is skilled and committed to creating quality dishes that embrace seasonal flavors and classic New England favorites. It is our hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!
As of February 14, 2024, we have added a second room block at the Hampton Inn Sturbridge, located at 328 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA 01566. It is 0.4 miles from the venue. There are pet-friendly rooms ($75.00 pet fee) and free parking.
There are a total of 25 rooms available in the block. There are 15 rooms available for those planning to stay from 10/25/24-10/27/24 and 10 rooms available for those just staying one night from 10/26/24-10/27/24. The rate is $219.00/night.
