This is around the first day we met. Drew sat down with me and a mutual friend on our college lawn and offered me his sweatshirt because I looked cold. I thought he was such a gentleman even though I didn't realize he was flirting with me. The rest is history. -Marie/// After an outdoor lecture I went over to talk to a friend of mine and her beautiful companion who I had my eyes on the whole class. After the weather started to turn cold, I offered Marie my sweatshirt. I wanted to be gentlemanly, but I also had an ulterior motive. Naturally I had to get Marie's phone number so I could get my hoodie back sometime in the future. She politely refused but after insisting that I didn't mind and that I wasn't cold (I was), she finally accepted the sweatshirt. -Drew

The day we started dating. He randomly asked me at the end of a party at his fraternity. He was too cute to say no! -Marie///

Our first dance at my sorority Gamma Phi Beta. I originally wanted to buy a white dress but decided against it. I was worried he would think I was hinting at marriage after 2 weeks of knowing each other. Turns out he already knew he was going to marry me. LOL -Marie/// I used to think the saying, "when you know, you know" was corny. I thought there was no way someone could tell that quickly that someone was the right person for them. I then proved myself wrong within two weeks of meeting Marie. -Drew

This is the night we decided on getting married and started looking at engagement rings! -Marie/// While I knew Marie was the one only a few short weeks after meeting her, I thought saying that out loud would send her running for the hills. Turns out we were on the same page and just didn't know it. -Drew

We spent Christmas day with the Maton's. I was sure Drew was going to propose to me here. He didn't but he got me a diamond necklace instead so can't be upset. -Marie///

Drew proposed! I was totally surprised because Drew let my roommate Liv Lecker into his confidence, and she assured me that I was crazy and wasn't getting proposed to any time soon. Ha! Drew went all out and hired a photographer, coordinator, and private chef. -Marie/// She said yes (Phew)!! While I did have some help making it happen, okay maybe a lot of help, the night when off without a hitch. My cover story was that I was taking Marie to a company party. She later told me she was so convinced, when we walked into an empty barn for a fancy dinner for two, her first thought wasn't, "I'm getting proposed to," it was, "I'm so embarrassed for Drew, none of his co-workers came."

We moved into our first place! It is a cute little apartment that we've quickly made our own. In true Marie fashion almost everything inside was thrifted or handed down. Quick thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Vang for helping us save up!

Drew's first trip to France. I was so excited to show him the locations behind so many fond memories. He met some of my French family and we had a great time. Hopefully the first of many more to come! -Marie/// France was beautiful and my professional translator pictured to my right was extremely helpful for getting around. I highly recommend this tour guide. -Drew

I told Marie that while in France, I wanted to try all the wacky foods I could. Turns out frog legs (in my left hand) really do taste like Chicken. -Drew

My wonderful mother and sister-in-law threw my bridal shower as a high tea at the Ritz in Tysons! It was so fun to dress up and sample all the yummy treats!
