The photos do not do this stunning church justice. It is a true time capsule. The inside of this church is covered in antique oil paintings and intricate stone and wood carvings. There is a fountain outside that is said to endow miracles. There is also a lovely prayer walk you can do up the hill with small chapels dedicated to the stations of the cross.
A ritzy seaside town with something to do for everyone. We will be spending most of Sunday the 26th here so there will be time to explore! This is the best place to do a little shopping, take a stroll on the beach, visit a museum, rest at a cafe, and appreciate a less rustic corner of France.
Millions come every year to visit this famous pilgrimage site dedicated to Mary.
This restaurant is very American palate friendly with mostly burgers and steak.
