How To Get To Allenspark/Estes Park

Wild Basin Lodge is located in Allenspark, Colorado, and we recommend guests stay in Estes Park, Colorado, the night of the wedding.   For guests traveling by air, Denver International Airport is the closest airport to Estes Park at an hour and a half drive. Uber and Lyft don’t service the Estes Park area, so out of town guests will need to rent a car to get from Denver to the mountains.

Appetizers will be passed during cocktail hour. Dinner (served family-style):-Beef tenderloin topped with blue cheese truffle butter-Roasted chicken breast stuffed with feta cheese, fresh spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil; served with a tomato cream sauce-Smashed potatoes with cheddar cheese and chives-Fried brussel sprouts with bacon brown sugar glaze Dietary restrictions can be accommodated upon request. Please indicate what accommodation you need when RSVP'ing. Throughout the night, drinks are on us! Thank you for coming to celebrate with us.

Wedding Day Details

We are providing shuttle service to and from Wild Basin Lodge for guests on wedding day. Guests are not required to take the shuttles, but we encourage you to if you plan to take advantage of the open bar. Shuttles will pick guests up at both the Estes Park Resort and Trailborn Rocky Mountains Outpost. Guests who are not staying at our hotel blocks are welcome to utilize the shuttles but must find their own transportation to the pick up locations. We cannot guarantee parking at the hotels for non-guests. Shuttles will depart Estes Park no later than 3:30pm to ensure guests arrive at Wild Basin Lodge on time. However, please be ready for pick up no later than 3:15pm. Shuttles will leave the venue around 10:15pm to take guests back to both hotels. When RSVP'ing, please indicate whether you will be using the shuttles so we can ensure there is enough transportation for everyone.

Driving Directions

Downtown has many shops including a taffy shop, restaurants, and breweries. There is also a riverwalk along the Big Thompson River. Park at the Town's parking structure (691 N. St. Vrain) and hop on the Town's free downtown trolley (Red Route) to Knoll Willows to take a stroll and get views of the Stanley Hotel, all the mountain peaks, and downtown. Trolley information can be found at Estes.org/Shuttles.

Visit the National Parks Service website for information on how to get a timed entry pass to enter the park. Note that seasonal closures are in effect in various areas of the Park due to elk rutting season. Be sure to obey all posted signs while exploring!
