When is the RSVP deadline?

We ask that you RSVP either online or by mail by March 20th, 2026. Any RSVPs not received by this date will be assumed to be a decline.

Where should I stay?

The ceremony and reception will be at Oak Glen Golf Course in Stillwater, MN which is about 40 minutes outside the Twin Cities. We recommend you stay either in the cities or Stillwater; both are beautiful and have things to do outside of celebrating with us.

What should I wear?

The overall dress code is semi-formal; please see the dress code tab on this webpage. While we are shooting for a beautiful spring wedding in April, the weather can be unpredictable in Minnesota. We recommend making sure you have clothing that would suit your comfort level in 50-60 degree weather. There is always the off chance it could be in the 40's, but it could also be in the 70's.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting, and the reception will be indoors with a patio to step out on to if you want some fresh air in-between all the dancing.

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Our wedding starts at three o'clock in the afternoon and will go until around twelve o'clock in the morning. We will hold a dinner and cocktail hour, which means there will be drinks available. Please plan accordingly with your party to secure rides to and from your lodgings. Friends don't let friends drive drunk! If you need help navigating ride share apps in the area, please let us know BEFORE the big day.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The doors to the venue open to guests at 3:00 PM. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:00 PM and end at 6:00 PM. A plated dinner will follow at 6:15 PM.

Can I bring a plus-one?

All invitations that have "& Guest" listed on them can bring a plus one. If you do not have this detail, please contact the bride and groom if you would like to bring one.

Is the dinner just the main?

No! The entrees are the only thing that is custom to everyone. Everyone will be having, in addition to your selected main, a Caesar salad (V, NF), garlic mashed potatoes (GF, NF), and roasted green beans (GF, V, NF). If you have any dietary restrictions or would like to opt out of a side, please put that in the notes section of your RSVP.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Our food options when RSVPing online say what items are vegetarian (V), gluten free (GF), nut free (NF), and dairy free (DF). If you still have concerns, please reach out to the bride or groom and we will work with our chef to accommodate you to our best ability.

Can I bring my child/children?

No. We politely request that anyone under the age of 18 not be in attendance. If you cannot find childcare and have to decline, we completely understand and in turn thank you for being respectful of our wishes.

What colors should I avoid?

Aside from white, cream, light tan, and other colors that could be misconstrued as "white," we want our guests to feel comfortable in what they wear! It is a spring wedding, so if that means anything to you then go for it! Other than that any color is on the table!

What shoes should I wear?

The ceremony will hopefully be outside on the grass, so please wear footwear that you feel confident walking on grass in. The reception will be indoors.

What do the elderly or disabled need to know (difficult terrain, staircases, special accommodations, etc)?

If there are any concerns regarding this subject, please reach out directly to the bride and groom so we can further discuss what accommodations need to be made in order for everyone to fully enjoy our big day with us.

Can I take pictures of the ceremony or reception with my phone?

No. While we appreciate the enthusiasm, we have paid for a photographer to take professional photos. We ask that you please respect their craft and our decision. If you would like to take pictures during dancing with your friends or family or even the bride and groom, please feel free to.

Who should I reach out to if I have a question that wasn't listed here?

Matti or Bobby! Any question that can't be answered by the two of us, we will do our darnedest to find an answer for you in a timely manner!
