Our Wedding

It is a tale as old as time, he was a handy man, she was a high school teacher. We had been fast friends from the beginning and for several years that is all it was: a really good friendship. But after getting to know each other more, we discovered the best thing a friendship can lead to: best friendship. It is something special to meet somebody who you can't wait to come home to. Not only do we get to be best friends, but also people who love and care deeply about each other on a whole different level. After dating for some time, Bobby popped the question at a concert. It was the most beautiful ring Matti had ever seen and it was perfect. Of course she said yes immediately and anybody who knows her knows that it didn't hit her right away that she was getting married to her best friend. No, it hit her in the car in the parking garage outside the venue and she began laughing and crying and alternating between the two. Bobby just sat there beaming like an idiot. Now we can't wait to have everyone join us on our special day—which the date has no special meaning, Matti just likes the way the date sounds.

How We Met

Our Story

Matti's bestie who succumbed to moving to "North Dakota." We met while working at the same high school and became fast friends. Madison lives with her husband Caiden and their daughter, Calliope.

Matti's best friend who lives in Texas. We met during college and have never stopped memein' each other. Camryn lives in Texas with their boyfriend, Liem, and dog, Daisy. 

Camryn Rosenau

One of Matti's work besties. We always can count one Laci to get stuff done, and her can-do spirit is what makes her a wonderful friend. Laci lives with her fiancé, Noel, and son, Liam, in Minnesota.

Laci Garcia

The boss and Mayor of Matti's workplace. Katie is so generous and also has a crippling addiction to only half finishing drinks; it's what makes her so endearing. 

Katie Grosland

Another one of Matti's work besties. Her ability to find memes about Dr. Pepper and send them to Matti are one of the many reason why she has made the list. Taylor lives with her boyfriend, Jonathan, in Minnesota. 

Taylor Walters

Found family from Texas who convinced Matti to move up to Minnesota and then followed her up here. Monty lives with their spouse, Nathan, and two kids, Liesel and Marnie (aka the flower girl and ring bearer.

Our best man and friend of the groom for fourteen years. Drew lives in Minneapolis with his wife Melanie, two children, Sophia and James, and their dog, Grace.

Vintage fan collector and secret train enthusiast. Higgins lives in Philadelphia and works as a railroad dispatcher.
