Semi-formal wedding attire is dressier than casual attire but not as dressy as formal attire. Sometimes referred to as "dressy casual." For semi-formal attire, women can wear short dresses, longer dresses or dressy jumpsuits. Men may opt for lighter-colored suits (versus tuxedos) for daytime weddings and, in some cases, can get away with linen shorts with polo shirts, collared shirts or even a light sweater.
