Wedding Party

Kelsey Bradley
Kelsey Bradley - Maid of Honor
KB and I have been friends since college when, by mere happenstance, she moved in to my apartment junior year. 12 years later I am often brought to tears with gratitude for that happenstance. Nearly all my best memories have this girl in them. She is the: bold, genuine, ever constant, safe space for hard questions and life conversations, order the whiskey drink, take the back road to the winery in Croatia, get the random lip tattoo, coach the 6th grade boys basketball team, buy a house together, go above and beyond to make you feel known kind of friend that I feel selfish to have in my corner - but not selfish enough to ever give up.
Justin Hallowell
Justin Hallowell - Best Man
Part time sarcastic ass hole, full time best friend. Unless you know Justin, its truly hard to describe how he’s somehow both an annoying shithead and the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet. When we first met in the freshmen dorms in 2008, I don’t think I had any idea that Justin would be one of the most important people in my life from that time forward. From Wooster to now, we’ve been through a lot together and theres no one else I would want standing next to me at my wedding. I had the honor of officiating Justin and Melanie’s wedding in 2020, and I’m equally proud to call him my best man. All that being said: at any point of the weekend, I fully reserve the right to be annoyed with him and promote Ian to this spot.
Chelsea Fishman
Chelsea Fishman - Maid of Honor
Chels and I have been friends since college - more specifically since I booked a flight to hang with her in OBX summer after freshman year without knowing her. Thus began our years long journey of friendship and shared passion of travel. Together we've been to over 17 countries, countless states, and an unreal amount of concerts. Our memories and stories run deep! This friendship has endured a lot (iykyk), and for that I am immensely fortunate. She is the: loyal, passionate, adventurous, part of every friend circle, never turn down the adventure, hop the fence to get the hurdle, drive hours to see the show, never forget the Cheez-its or speaker or dranks, hop on the flight to show up for the moment (any moment), commit to the girls trip, call to share the news (any news), carry your highs and lows alongside you kind of friend and that is such a gift. She is such a gift!
Ian Franks
Ian Franks - Best Man
Truly the most consistent and steady best friend a guy could ask for. Ian is always someone I want to share the highs and lows of life with. From his time as a leader on the court as literally one of the best division 3 basketball players ever, to being the first of the Wooster boys to get married and become a father, Ian has always been the leader of the crew and someone we all look up to. Also, importantly: Ian will do all of the best man duties that Justin will inevitably forget.
Kelsey Ragan
Kelsey Ragan - Bridesmaid
Kels and I were acquaintance-friends after college but it was one teary dinner shared over pizza and sangria that really solidified our friendship. Over the past few years Kels has been a cornerstone friend in my life in more ways than I can count. The words loyal and intentional feel like hallow descriptors compared to what she really is. She is the: thoughtful, deeply personal, text in the middle of the night with big emotions, ask good questions and remember the answers, don't distract her during a Vikings or Wild game kind of friend that I love. I hope to never take our coffee walks for granted and truly hope they never end. Special shoutout for Matt to Kels' pup Tucker. He would have been in the groom party had I allowed it.
Jake Mays
Jake Mays - Groomsman
The third former college teammate of the groomsmen crew, Jake and I’s relationship blossomed post playing days when we were just a coupla Ohio boys trying to find our way through adulthood in the Rocky Mountains. Jake is the consummate gentle giant, and one of the most thoughtful and intentional friends a guy could ask for. He’s the first to pick up the phone when things are good, bad, or it's just time to catch up.
Lauren Miget
Lauren Miget - Bridesmaid
Lauren and I's path to friendship is an interesting one, but one I'm immensely grateful for. Friends from your hometown get you like nobody else can and the life you do together just can't be explained. Lauren and I have navigated through tough relationships in every category you can think of and have shared many, many tears together - tears of sadness, joy, confusion, laughter, doubt, gratitude, all of it. She is the: consistent, thoughtful, leave her 6 month old and buy the flight to Mexico for your birthday, do your hair when you have a broken wrist, pour another glass of wine and just listen kind of friend. Everybody needs a Lauren. I'm grateful she is mine.
Adam Rhoades
Adam Rhoades - Groomsman (+ Brother-In-Law)
You can’t pick your siblings in law, but if you could I would pick Adam. One of my favorite people to talk sports, news, and just generally shoot the shit with. As cliche as this may be, Adam is truly the brother I never had, and family time is always better with him there. On top of all of this, Adam’s best trait remains putting up with my sister. Just kidding, Jess.
Elyssa Hernandez
Elyssa Hernandez - Bridesmaid
EH and I have been friends since college, but our friendship truly deepened and became "it's own" when we were roommates through Covid. When KB and I were stocking up on brownies, wine, and goldfish, Elyssa brought home actual necessities like toilet paper. If you ever need random life hacks, a go-to trivia partner, or somebody to help you organize (your room, your life, etc) - she's your girl. She is the: stabilizing, steady, easy to laugh with, will always show up when you call kind of friend and I feel lucky to have her in my inner circle. She's also the best beach/lake goer I've ever met; nobody can match Elyssa's level of chill on a beach.
John Murphy
John Murphy - Groomsman
John and I met through our summer gig with Teach for America in 2015, and pretty quickly became summer bros and long distance friends. Of all the educators I ever worked with in my ten years teaching, I would put John at the top of the list of people I would want teaching someone I loved. His passion about, well, a lot of things is unmatched, and something I strive for. If you’ve ever heard me rant about something and thought to yourself “how can he muster so much energy about this?” I was probably on some level channeling John. Also, he is 1 of 2 groomsmen who have been my boss. Not quite sure what that says about me.
Brianna Scott
Brianna Scott - Bridesmaid (+ Sister-In-Law)
From the moment Tré told me about "this girl he had taken on a few dates," I knew she was the one. Then I met her and I immediately got it. Anybody that meets her gets it. Brianna has been the greatest addition to our family. She is a beautiful example of a dedicated, energetic, creative, light hearted, intentional, deeply caring, knowledgeable, adventurous, and patient wife, mother, and friend. I'm eternally grateful for her example and presence in all ways. She is the: empathetic, carry your pain with you, understand and accept your family, laugh at your bad jokes, ask you to join on any adventure, slow down her pace to match yours, more than just a sister-in-law kind of friend and I'm honored to have her by my side through all things in life, including this day!
Tyler Meyer-Jensen
Tyler Meyer-Jensen - Groomsman
As a couple, Tyler is truly our most mutual friend. Kenna and Tyler were coworkers, ski friends, and running buddies far before I arrived on the scene at McAuliffe Manual. We knew we wanted Tyler in our wedding party and be part of our special day, and only after a series of long discussions did we decide he would look better in a suit standing with me than in a dress standing with Ken. Tyler is the type of guy who has never met a stranger and could be friend with a brick wall, so we have always hit it off. I’m proud to take responsibility for him finding pickup basketball in adulthood. He’s solidly in contention for 5th best basketball player of the groomsmen, but much higher in the enthusiasm rankings.
Jess Rhoades
Jess Rhoades - Bridesmaid (+ future Sister-In-Law)
(written by Matt) I’m proud that the undisputedly more thoughtful and caring half of the Fegan siblings will be standing with us on our wedding day. (written by McKenna) Before meeting Jess, Matt described her as thoughtful, caring, and super intentional. Since knowing Jess personally, I've witnessed and experienced these gifts of hers in numerous ways. I'm excited to get to know Jess more and feel honored to be part of her family!
Tre Scott
Tre Scott - Groomsman (+ Future Brother-In-Law)
(written by McKenna) The only person in this line up that has been there since day one. I could write a novel about Tre's role in my life, all the memories, the shared joys, shared hardships, the best parts of me that I only have thanks to him, the strength he has let me borrow, the lessons he has taught me, the wisdom he has passed down through words and actions, the example he has been. Words just don't exist to express how grateful I am for him (which might make writing a novel hard, but I'm sure I'll figure it out). (written by Matt) Tre (and Bill) have set a high standard for McKenna for what being a good Husband and Father looks like. I admire them both and strive to reach that bar.
Hyson and Raelyn Scott
Hyson and Raelyn Scott - Ring Patrol and Flower Princess
This energetic, fun-loving, thoughtful, creative, curious, and hilarious duo gave me one of the most cherished titles I have: AK (or Aunt Kenna). They are joy in every way and I will brag about them as long as they let me. Having them as a part of this day means everything to me - having them as part of my life is an indescribable gift.
