How should I RSVP?

As soon as invitations are sent out, we will open up a tab on this website that allows you to RSVP and indicate your plus-one, dietary needs, and other details.

When should I book my flight?

According to our research, the best time to purchase tickets for an international flight is between four and eight months before your trip. We encourage you to take some time during the week of Thanksgiving to check out Black Friday flight deals. For more flight information, please see the "Travel" tab of this website.

When should I get to Rethymno?

While the ceremony and reception will take place on Wednesday, May 20th, we plan on hosting additional activities before and after the wedding, including a welcome party on May 19th and a farewell event on May 21st. We will update this information and provide options to RSVP for each event as the date approaches. If time off and budget allow, we encourage you to take advantage of your international flight to travel before or after the wedding, either within Greece or beyond in the rest of Europe. Flights, ferries, and trains between European countries tend to be very affordable.

Where should I stay?

Please check the "Accommodations" tab of this website for hotels close to the city center. We recommend booking at one of our suggested hotels or one in the same general area, as the shuttle (see below) will pick up all guests nearby.

How should I get to and from the wedding venue?

A free shuttle will transport guests to the venue before the ceremony and return guests to Rethymno's city center after the reception. It will make only two trips (one there, one back); however, if you would like to return to your hotel early, our coordinator can call a taxi for the 15-minute drive between the venue and the city center.

What should I wear?

The dress code for our ceremony and reception is cocktail. Suits, sport coats, formal jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, and formal separates are all welcome. The wedding will take place outdoors on cobblestone flooring, so please plan to wear flats or shoes with a chunky (not stiletto) heel. And please save white for the brides!

Can I wear white?

It depends! If you're thinking of a white button-down shirt under a suit jacket, absolutely. If you're considering a white (or cream or alabaster or ivory or blush or off-white) dress, please refrain :)

Can I bring a plus-one or children?

We know this is a long way to travel by yourself or without your family. Your little ones are welcome to attend. If you would like to bring a guest who is not listed on your invitation, please reach out to us!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The entirety of the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors at our beautiful organic farm venue. We are expecting lovely, warm weather, but please plan to be outdoors after dark and pack a light sweater in case it gets chilly.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

We will enjoy a multi-course, family-style dinner of traditional Greek food. When you RSVP, you will have the opportunity to indicate if you are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free, and you will be served options that accommodate your restriction.

What will your last name be?

Michaela will take Amelia's last name. Get ready to welcome Mrs. and Mrs. Rodriguez into the reception after we say "I do!"
