We met working in AIESEC, an international non-profit, in our second year of undergrad. This was our first gala together as a couple and when we (gasp) became instagram official.

Our first trip together was during a conference in British Columbia. We realized we were compatible travel buddies!

We learned that both of us loved skiing and winter sports, so of course, we couldn't miss Whistler. We began to realize we liked a lot of the same things, even though Mike was just a 'small town boy' and Kristy was just a 'city girl'.

Our friend asked to photograph us for their portfolio. It was just a simple photoshoot in Windsor but it made us so happy that they thought we were cute.

Being long distance, there were a lot of phone and video calls since one of us went to Queen's in Kingston and the other went to school in Windsor. It would take almost ten hours from door to door to see each other. Shout out to the Via Rail and their semester passes.

They say don't go chasing waterfalls, but we did and found out that waterfalls are quite cold and a little painful. But Kristy still liked the cottage life Mike introduced her to. (Manitoulin Island)

Whenever we visited each other, we took each other around our respective towns. Every time we saw each other, we saw more of our towns too. (Kingston, Ontario)

Sometimes we couldn't go to each other's schools, so we met up halfway in Toronto

Mike became a permanent fixture at Queens for a lot of our friends (seriously, he had way too much Queen's swag) and he always made it out for Homecoming.

After we graduated undergrad, we celebrated with a romantic first cruise together. (Missing from the photo is our best friend and now best man, Kuchak, who accompanied us on our romantic getaway.)

We had visited Pelee Island Winery over the years for dates, not realizing that years later we would be getting married there. (Fun fact: Mike used to work here as a bottle boy)

In September 2018, we finally closed the gap and moved in together in Toronto where Kristy slowly lost years of her life in law school and Mike sold his soul on Bay Street. (Law Ball in 1L at U of T)

We decided to level up in life and become each other's roommates. So we signed a lease together! For the first time ever, we would be making our home — together.

We love to try new things and go on cool adventures; whether it's going on a painting date night in Little Italy, or destroying skeletons in a VR adventure.

Every Christmas since we started dating, the Coopers have accepted Kristy into the fold of their merry celebrations. We are so lucky that both families have always loved the both of us as their children from day one.

We adopted a son. Welcome Stitch to the world -- socially anxious baby, little prince, and professional brat. (Truly lived up to his namesake...)

COVID was a difficult time, but there is always a silver lining. We took advantage of COVID deals and purchased our first car. Aloha Lilo!

For our engagement, we played Bridgerton music in the background because Kristy will never get over her love for Bridgerton. So naturally, we had to attend the Bridgerton Ball in LA (You can't hear but Mike is actually saying "I burn for you").

For the girl that was obsessed with Disney growing up, she found her Prince Charming.

Under the Ambassador Bridge, Mike asked Kristy to marry him where their love story had first started.

With her engagement ring in hand (the one ring), their first destinations was an easy 20 km vertical hike with elevation changes of 2,300 meters that took the couple 6 hours to climb Mount Doom (Much faster than Frodo and Sam in the LOTR). (Tongariro Crossing - New Zealand)

In New Zealand with some of the best white water rafting in the world, we embarked on our first grade 4 river - getting soaked head to toe with being fully underwater at some points, we continue to make waves.

Mike's goal for New Zealand was to visit the Lord of the Ring shooting locations, Kristy went house hunting for a home that fit her size. (Hobbiton in New Zealand)

Mike got his scuba diving license years ago, and Kristy never backs down from a challenge. We naturally had to scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef.

Kristy loves food and and just for a day on her birthday, she wished to live like a crazy rich Asian. So we went to a 3 Star Michelin restaurant (Odette in Singapore)

As we grow older, long gone are our wild nights out, we traded them in for tea and scones to prepare ourselves for when we do those things together when we are 90.

As the brilliant Taylor Swift once said, "I want your midnights. But I'll be cleaning up bottles with you on New Year's Day."
