Saguaro National Park

With the June temperatures can soar during the day, we recommend visiting early in the morning or later in the evening to enjoy the breathtaking views without the extreme heat. For a cooler experience, you can take a scenic drive through the park and stop at shaded areas for photo ops!


Mission San Xavier del Bac
This historic 18th-century Spanish Catholic mission is known for its stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere. A true gem of Tucson, it’s a perfect spot for history lovers or anyone looking for a beautiful and tranquil place to visit.


The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
A blend of a zoo, botanical garden, and natural history museum, this is one of Tucson’s top attractions. It offers an in-depth look at the plants, animals, and ecosystems of the Sonoran Desert—plus, it's an incredible place to get up close to desert wildlife.


Old Tucson
While June in Tucson can be hot, Old Tucson still offers a unique experience worth checking out—especially early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are a bit more manageable. This historic movie studio and theme park, often used in Western films, is set in a beautiful desert landscape that will make you feel like you're stepping into an old Western movie.


There are fun attractions, like live stunt shows and historical exhibits, but keep in mind that many of the outdoor activities can be a bit toasty in the midday heat. Plan to visit early or late in the day to make the most of your time. And if you're looking for a cool treat, there’s nothing better than a chilled drink at one of the shops!
