Nick and Gabby met in September 2021 with the help of a mutual friend. They soon learned they shared many interests, such as biking, art, music, travel and spending time outdoors.

It was only a short time until they fell in love and spent as much time together as possible. Despite being a self-described "not a dog person," Gabby also fell in love with Nick's dog, Bellatrix.

Together, they explored Iowa, the US and the United Kingdom. Their biggest adventure, however, has been renovating their Urbandale home.
