Are kids allowed?
Children are welcome to the ceremony and reception. We are hiring a kids party room provider called Kid's Nite Out! If we haven't contacted you about this specifically, and you're bringing a 6 months to 18 year old guest, please let us know before October 10th.

Where do I RSVP?
Please let us know asap if you change your RSVP.
The RSVP should have six options for the reception meal choice: Vegan, Kid's Meal (Age 2-12), Infant's Meal (Age 0-2), Filet Mignon, Chicken, and Salmon. The Vegan and Kid's option has disappeared on the website a couple of times now, so if they weren't showing for you when you selected your meals, please let us know so we can fix it. Please specify in the notes of your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions.

Is there a room block?
There is a room block at the Gaylord Palms Hotel with rate of 169$ + 22$ resort fee. The block is closed now, so tell us your reservation number if you booked on the main site and want the rate applied. The hotel will reimburse you for the difference.

I have some other discount/points with the hotel, can I use that?
Yes! Please let us know your reservation number if you book separately from this link so we can make it count towards our block.

Are there any other events?
(Updated 8/24, 9/16) There will be a dessert party in the Gaylord Palms St. Augustine Fort on Friday night October 11th and a Farewell Brunch on Sunday October 13th in the Villa de Flora Restaurant. There may also be an informal after-party Saturday night at the Wrecker's Sports Bar at the Gaylord Palms resort that isn't officially planned, but they know we might be coming. We don't have any other events planned for the weekend so people can explore on their own time and preferences.

Where do I park?
We will have parking vouchers for FREE self-parking for the day/night of the wedding at the Gaylord Palms. All other days are a $22 per night to self-park and $33 to valet park.

What is black tie optional?
Suits, tuxes, dresses. Please come as you are if this causes any extreme stress.

Will there be an open bar?
Yes. If you cannot have alcohol due to dietary restriction, please let us know so your champagne toast is prepared alcohol-free.

How do I get from the ceremony to reception?
To walk from the Emerald Plaza to the Sun Ballroom, walk towards the sign that says Conference Center and go up the escalator. There are turn by turn directions available on the mobile app Navigate Gaylord Hotels.

What is your hashtag?
We are using the Social Media Hashtag #CaldwellEverAfter for any publicly posted photos so we can find them after the wedding.

Are you going on a honeymoon?
We are spending one day in the Magic Kingdom and the rest of our honeymoon in Las Vegas!

What is your wedding color (so I can avoid wearing the bridesmaid color)?
Our bridesmaids will be in dark purple.

Is this in Disney World?
The Gaylord Palms Resort is a Marriott resort and is not owned by Disney. The resort is very close to Disney World, however, and there is a complimentary shuttle from the resort to Disney World Parks! We wrote a short guide on this site geared towards first time guests!

Where is the Emerald Plaza?
The Emerald Bay Plaza is the far side of the atrium from the lobby.

What is the infant's meal (Age 0-2)?
We realized without an option for infant's meal, there was no way to RSVP for our youngest guests! We added this Infant's meal just so you can RSVP for them right now and we will work with the chef to figure out what this is going to be.
