We are excited to let everyone know that with only 45 days until Wedding Attempt #2, it is time to RSVP for the Luongo/Streifert Wedding!

TLDR; Please RSVP here by September 4th. Many COVID precautions will be in place at the venue for a safe, fun celebration and of course, we love you all!

RSVP: We understand that the situation is constantly evolving by the day, but we also want to give enough notice for everyone to make accommodations and plans as needed. So with that, RSVP’s are now open here! Please RSVP by Friday, September 4th.

Precautions: Everyone staying safe and healthy is our number one priority and we understand that many are unable to travel during these times. Austin and I know that you all will be sharing your love with us from near and far. However, in case any of the below COVID precautions may factor into your decision process, we do want to share the following steps that our venue is taking:

- Seating / social distancing: All seating at the ceremony and reception will be assigned by household / carpool. Distance between households in all seating assignments will be 6 feet.

- Masks required indoors: Per Texas law, all guests will be required to wear masks when indoors when not seated in their assigned seats.

- Temperature checks: All vendors and guests will be subject to temperature checks at the door. Anyone with a fever over 100°F will not be allowed to enter the venue.

- Sanitizer: Sanitizer will be available throughout the venue for all guests. Extra precautions are also being taken to ensure that no items will be shared by multiple guests.

- Capacity: We expecting to be at 20% capacity at the venue, allowing for plenty of open space.

State requirements: Finally, please check local travel restrictions if you are coming from outside of Texas. If your state requires testing prior to returning, appointments for 15-minute rapid testing can be made at the following location near the venue for a $20 scheduling fee. Hi Everyone,

We are saddened to announce that our venue informed us yesterday that it will be shut down for the next eight weeks due to coronavirus and we will therefore have to postpone our wedding. Although we are disappointed that we will not be able to celebrate with everyone in a few weeks, we are excited to announce that we have been able to coordinate with the venue for our new wedding date - October 1, 2020!!!

Although we did not plan to have this event on a Thursday, we were extremely limited with the venue availability and the many other brides who are in the same situation as us. We understand this is not the most convenient of days, but we are looking forward to making an awesome 4-day weekend out of it for everyone to celebrate. Stay tuned.

With that being said, we will open a new RSVP on the website soon and will be asking everyone to re-RSVP closer to the date, by August 17, 2020. We will send out another message when the RSVP feature is ready. For accommodations, luckily airlines are being very understanding during this situation and flight prices look pretty good right now for anyone who wants to get a good deal on the new date. For anyone who has booked at the Sleep Inn, your original reservation has been cancelled, but you may book your room to the new block by calling (512) 858-2400 and reference Luongo/Streifert.

We will be creating a Facebook group for anyone who would like to join in order to provide more updates leading up to the event so that everyone stays informed during this ever changing situation.
