Our wedding ceremony and reception are being held at Rivers Casino, in Pittsburgh PA. The whole event will take place indoors, but there is a lovely balcony to step outside for a minute (no smoking). Our event will take place in the Rivers Ballroom on the second floor. You can walk through the casino to the Drum Bar (a big white Chandelier in front of windows), and take the escalator or elevator upstairs. The Ballroom will be to your right. There is free parking in their garage, and if you do the hotel block, the hotel is connected to the event space. You will need ID to enter. Here is our timeline: Please make sure you have arrived by 4:45pm to get settled and find your way. 5:00 - Wedding Ceremony 5:30 - Cocktail Hour 6:30 - Toasts into Dinner 7:30ish - Cake Cutting, First Dance into Dance Party 11:00 - Everyone out of the space for cleanup

We’re calling it “Expressive and Elegant” or “Formal and Fun”. Think Cocktail, but have fun with it. Be flashy or quirky or patterned or dramatic. We want you to look good, feel good, and be able to dance! - you don’t have to dance well, just dance.

We do have a room block with the Landing Hotel, and you can find more information on the Travel Page. (I can't hyper-link here). But, you are also welcome to stay elsewhere. Pittsburgh has tons of options- budgets, history, vibes, whatever you like to make your stay comfortable. We do not have transportation shuttling people, so that would be part of your travel coordination.

Everyone gets to have 2 proteins, a veggie and a starch. The joy of this is that you don't have to split your meal with someone else to try both options :] We chose a Salmon with glaze, and a Braised beef, roasted fingerling potatoes, and seasonal veggies I believe, but PLEASE mark on your RSVP any dietary things - no fish, vegetarian, only red meat, allergic to carrots, anything we need to pass on to the chefs.

The ages are restricted to 16+, since the venue is a casino. Anyone under 21 must check in at a specific location, all together, at the same time with a parent. Then the group will be escorted together to the event space and must stay. If they would like to leave, they cannot come back, so know that when you're done, you're done!

Heck yeah! It's cold in the winter, and one of us is cold year round... we hear your concern for looking fancy but staying warm! There will be a coat check where you can leave coats and winter shoes too, if it comes to that! For those staying at the casino hotel, there is a walkway that connects - so no need to go outside :)

Yes! Saturday, for those who can be in town this early, we're doing a little gathering at a friend's building to host some more time for food and visiting. No pressure if you can't make it. But come for an hour or stay the whole time. It is very informal, and is seriously just a chance to meet people beforehand or get time to visit with the friends and family you know, and so we get more time with you too!
