Travel

* * * If this is your first time in Pittsburgh, check out the Things To Do! We highly recommend giving Pittsburgh the Grand Entrance, and you can follow I-376 E downtown from the airport easily. Add the Fort Pitt Tunnel to your GPS stops on your way to your hotel!

For packing, it will also be COLD. Pittsburgh can be windy and have very low temperatures, but it could be anywhere in the 60’s to -10. It’s not quite as windy as the NYC wind tunnels, but definitely is cold. Bring your winter layers so you can explore!

Driving

If you’re driving, please be wary. It will be winter time, which to us means potential snow and ice, and Pittsburgh is mountainous. You also should be wary of the traffic… Yes, drivers are maniacs everywhere, but our roads are complicated. Be very aware of the lanes and exits; there are so many highways where everybody needs over 4 lanes in a 200 ft bridge.
