Here is my list on Google Maps! Feel free to explore and save it to your map so you see marks as you drive around!
You can also check out this Visit Pittsburgh for other great suggestions and snippets of what Pittsburgh is like!
If this is your first time, you MUST add this as a stop on your trip into Pittsburgh.
There was nothing better than bringing friends home for a weekend, and bringing them through the tunnel to show them my city, with its own dramatic entrance.
It may be a bit gray since it’s in the winter time, but the skyline is absolutely stunning at night.
You can stay on I-376 if you’re coming from the airport and get this grand entrance first thing. Just add it as a stop on your route and GPS should take care of you.
The view from Mt. Washington is another stellar one if you want to see Pittsburgh… while you’re not driving! Again it may be a bit gray, but even in the snow it’s a beautiful sight.
The Incline is a fun childhood memory for me. I remember loving the cars and the windows and walking around Mt. Washington. There is a small charge to ride, and keep your ticket so you can take the return trip to your car! At the bottom is Station Square. Full of dining options and another cool place to walk around.
You'll also be able to see the Duquesne Incline from our venue!
Visit PPG Plaza and Market Square! Market square is another neat place to explore, and then you can walk about a block to our glass castle of PPG and go ice skating.
Try the Mont Enebro. You won't do it.
A bar in Lawrenceville with an amazing menu of cocktails. Try the Fight milk.
This is a legendary Pittsburgh sandwich. The blue collar, full flavor sandwich featuring (most important) French fries. ON the sandwich. Or get a Pittsburgh salad with the fries ON the salad ;)
A classic, simple Pittsburgh restaurant. Sort of Diner-y, but it's an essential every time we come to town. They have amazing Pretzels, and you have to try a Smiley Cookie.
For a neat dining and walk (though chilly)
You can check out our Hard Rock Cafe, or if you're feeling fancy, go to the Grand Concourse for a grand dinner!
This memorial is very close to the hotel / venue... so if it's "warm" enough to venture out, you could go check out this Mister Rogers memorial! We are proud neighbors, and love him.
His show was filmed in the burgh at WQED studios (which is another site that has props and set on display, though I am not sure if they take visitors right now).
