The wedding ceremony will be a blend of Christian and Hindu traditions, starting with the Baraat. If you're attending from the groom's side, get ready to dance!

A Baraat is the groom's procession into the wedding ceremony, surrounded by his family and friends. Traditionally, he will arrive on a decorated elephant or horse, but those who know Josh can take a guess as to what mode of transportation he has chosen.

Once at the ceremony entrance, the bride's family will perform a ritual to welcome the groom inside.

Following this, guests will be invited to be seated and enjoy the fusion ceremony. A written guide explaining each step will be available at your seat to give you a better understanding of what is going on.

The ceremony can also be rather long, so if you need to stretch your legs and move about then go ahead! Feel free to take photos, however we ask that you be mindful of other guests and refrain from loud conversation. If you need to talk, please move away from the ceremony area to do so.

After the ceremony has concluded, you will be directed to the main hall where lunch will be served.

When lunch is wrapped up, we will have a Vidai. This is where the bride's family bids the newly married couple farewell (and the bridesfolk will make it their mission to stop the groom from taking away their friend!).

There will be a break before the cocktail hour where you can take photos, go back to your hotel and freshen up.
