Long Grove is a cute little town just south of Vernon Hills. It has some great cafes and boutique shops to explore.

If you'd like to go shopping, we'd recommend the outlet mall at Pleasant Prairie. It has a wide variety of shops, but is an outdoor mall so check the weather before venturing out.
