Guests joining us for the day of the ceremony should plan to arrive between 2pm and 5pm and plan to depart by 10pm. If we've made arrangements for you to spend the night, we will need to be completely packed out by 10am Monday morning. Please note that all guests must drive slowly (10mph maximum) by the houses on the road leading to the venue. Use caution when leaving late in the evening; the road will be both winding and dark!
What should we bring?
Swimwear, sun protection, and a comfy change of clothes for enjoying the natural beauty during the day and sitting around the campfire at night. There will be no bar, so please bring your own spirits if you plan to imbibe.
If you're feeling especially generous and you'd like to contribute to a Dessert Potluck, please bring along your homemade pie or other dessert of choice!
What should we wear?
Whatever makes you happy! Our theme is Moomin Midsummer (see the Story and Theme section!), so we hope to see you all in your most fantastical flora and fauna forms.
Food and drinks?
Hearty refreshments will be available for guests before the ceremony, from 4-6pm including snacks, treats, appetizers, and goodies to stuff in your faces. Dinner will be served after the ceremony at 6:30pm. Send us your dietary restrictions so that we can accommodate everyone's unique needs and preferences. Please consider bringing your own alcoholic beverages and limiting your consumption, as many members of our community are sober and Robin gets anxious around drunk people.
Can we add another guest?
We are working at the limits of our intimate event, so please reach out well in advance if there are any guests you hope to bring that weren’t discussed prior. Thank you for understanding!
Can we bring pets?
Snufkin, Magpie, and Pupick will be the dogs of honor. They reserve the right to select other dogs to join the wedding party by a consensus vote.
