Do you need a Passport to travel to Ireland?
Yes, we recommend if you don't already have one and plan on attending to order sooner than later. Passports at times can take 3-6 months to arrive.
Are kids welcome?
Yes, we love kids and want the most people to be there for our special day. If planning to attend with the kids just lets us know ahead of time so we can get an accurate number of meals to the kitchen.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
Will transportation be provided to/from the airport?
No, you will need to rent a car, it's the easiest way around. It will allow you to explore all the great things Ireland has to offer. Ireland is serviced by most of the big car rental companies you are already familiar with such as Budget, Avis, Hertz and more and cars can be reserved from the American offices for Ireland or online on each companies American or Irish websites.
Will food and drinks be served at the reception?
Yes, we are having a traditional Irish meal and there will be an open bar.
How do I get to Dingle?
For you tech savvy people that have smartphones, they will work. You need to keep in mind that you will need to turn on your international cellphone plan through your carrier. For anyone living in the past you can use a map but Good Luck!
How to get to the Venue?
Once in Dingle, everything is within walking distance. For anyone that wants to drive there is parking at the hotel.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
As long as the weather cooperates, the ceremony will be outside by the bay and the reception will be indoors.
What's the weather like in Dingle?
During the summer months it's known to be dryer. But remember, it's Ireland, rain is always in the forecast. The temperature is usually in the 50s/60s, so plan accordingly. It tends to be windy in Ireland especially on the coast.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink while I am in town for your wedding?
All the local pubs are your best option. If you're looking for something quick the gas stations or super markets have really good sandwiches. For something quick, we recommend going to Centra in Dingle to get Chicken cutlet with tomato and brown sauce on a roll. If you're looking for a sit-down dinner/ drink we recommend going to John Benny's Pub.
What is the Currency?
The Republic of Ireland currency is the Euro.
The main banks in the Republic of Ireland are open Mon - Fri from 10am - 4pm. There are ATM's in supermarkets and small shops as well as petrol/gas stations and you can also use these to withdraw cash with most American bank and ATM cards. All major credit cards are acceptable almost everywhere you go.
Which side of the road do we drive on?
In Ireland, they drive on the left hand side. The road system has been modernised over the last 10 years and there is now a major road service to most parts of the country. Don't be afraid to get off the motorway and take the scenic route. Scenic routes are well sign posted and are well worth the extra hour you might spend traveling, but you may like to consider getting a GPS system for your car also.
Speed limits are as follows: Motorway 120kph; National Roads 100kph, Non-National Roads 80kph and small Urban Areas 50kph to 60kph.
Do we tip?
Tipping has become more prevalent in restaurants in Ireland. The normal rate is around 10% but this will not be imposed and it is completely up to the customer how much they wish to leave. Tipping in bars is not customary. In the nicer restaurants or for large groups, a service charge may be included in your bill. You can at your own discretion decide to leave a small tip.
