How do I get to Vail?

Check out the Travel tab of this website!

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes! Check out the Travel tab of this website for more information and the booking link.

Can my kid(s) come to the wedding and other wedding-related events?

Yes and no. No, kids are not invited to attend the wedding ceremony, reception, or rehearsal dinner. Yes, they are welcome to join us for the welcome party at El Sabor! Colorado is a great place for family fun and should you want to bring your kids to Vail with you, the following childcare company has been recommended to us: https://www.resortsitters.com/

How do I get to Donovan Pavilion?

For those staying at the Grand Hyatt, there will be a shuttle leaving at 3:30pm. Alternatively, it's a 15-minute walk from the hotel to the venue along Gore Creek Trail. Assuming weather permits, we highly recommend this gorgeous stroll! For those staying elsewhere in the Vail area, you can take the free public bus. From the Vail Transportation Center, take the West Vail Green bus line to the Matterhorn bus stop. From there it's a 5-minute walk to the venue. Bus schedules can be found here: https://www.vailgov.com/government/departments/transportation-services/bus-information/bus-schedules PLEASE NOTE Uber and Lyft are not always reliable in Vail so plan accordingly!

Is there parking at Donovan Pavilion?

Yes, there is free parking available at the venue. However, we STRONGLY encourage our guests to take advantage of Vail's FREE bus system. It is very reliable and, did we mention, free??

I see attire is "Formal (Black-Tie Optional)"... Do I need to wear a tuxedo?

If you own or would like to wear a tux, go for it! However, there is no pressure to do so. Suit and tie are great too!

How can I mitigate the risk of altitude sickness?

HYDRATE! This is the best way to avoid many of the symptoms of altitude sickness. If you're consuming alcoholic beverages and/or caffeine (like we will be), make sure you are also consuming plenty of water. Acclimatization is also extremely helpful if you're able to come to Colorado 3 - 5 days before the wedding. However, we recognize that most people's schedules don't allow for this (in which case, see note about hydration above!).
