AIRPORT OPTIONS

There are two primary airports most people use to fly to Vail, and both have their pros and cons:

Option #1: Eagle County Regional Airport

Only a 30 minute drive from Vail BUT, being a small airport, it has a limited number of flights each day and they tend to be more expensive than flights in and out of Denver.

Option #2: Denver International Airport

Approximately a 2 hour drive from Vail, the Denver airport has a lot more flight options (usually at less expensive price points) than the Eagle County airport.

Getting to Vail

Option #1: Rent a Vehicle

This is a nice option if you're a lover of flexible planning or looking to travel around Colorado before or after the wedding weekend.

OPTION #2: Reserve A Shuttle Service

There are several shuttles that provide service to and from both Eagle County Airport and Denver International Airport. For those who don't want to deal with a rental car or navigating steep mountain roads, this is a great option. Below are several shuttle services we've found:

Getting Around Town

Take the Bus!

The Town of Vail Transit Department provides FREE year-round bus service throughout Vail. The bus system is very reliable and, in our opinion, the best way to move about the area. Click here for bus routes and schedules
