Have your meal on the Bayside, a lovely atmospheric restaurant in Onancock. Top Recommendation: Crab Cake Salad and a glass of wine.
Drinks on the Seaside, a beautiful day on the porch overlooking the water is a lovely way to wrap up an evening. Top Recommendation: The Mother of the Bride recommends her favorite Sea Food Island House.
The streets of Onancock will smell like heaven once the ovens and fryers turn on. A personal favorite of the Bride and Groom, no visit to the Shore is complete without a trip through these doors. Top recommendations: Everything. Doughnut Holes and Maple Bacon Doughnuts. Pro Tip: Get there early or else they will sell out, and once they sell out they close. Only the Bride has gotten them to make another batch of something that was already out of stock.
For drinks and lunch, go no further than the Blarney. With live music performances in their outdoor seating area and a solid pour from the bar, its a great stop off to fill an afternoon. Top Recommendation: Bangers and Mash.
You may have to wait in a line, but it's worth the wait after a day on Cape Charles beach. Top Recommendation: ESCC Coffee ice cream with a waffle cone
