Ryan and I will be hosting a coffee/breakfast the morning after the wedding at our Airbnb! We will also be opening all the lovely gifts you've sent us then. :) Please call/text me at (401) 999-4417 to let me know if you'd like to be there! Ryan will be serving as your personal barista, with freshly ground coffee from Uncommon Grounds. There might be a Denver egg casserole..! And there will be plenty of bagels and donuts for munching on.

Our Wedding

Hello! :) This is Seraphim and Ryan,

..And we're just a couple of nerds who were lucky enough to find each other! Ryan started working at MaxBMW motorcycles in Troy, NY just as I entered my final year of college at RPI -- and put the excess of my college savings into my first ever vehicle, a 2019 G310GS. And so, our paths started to intertwine..It wasn't until 3 years later that I had to owe him food for fixing my rear motorcycle tire on an emergency, and after work hours, at that! But somehow, lunch turned into dinner turned into riding our motorcycles to watch the sun set over the lake.Being the absolute crazies that we are, we jumped right into our relationship at 100% max effort and commitment! Since then, we've had adventures and projects to completely fill our schedules to the brim. But every second that we spend together is a moment that we cherish, and we're ready for the newest adventure, hand-in-hand!

Who else could I choose to be by my side on this special occasion? I've been her mama bird since she was but a wee hatchling and watched her grow into a lovely young lady, and I'm incredibly proud to be her big sister!

The best brother I've ever had. More seriously, the best brother I could ask for. From growing up in the back yard together, to going on drives together, he's always supported me to do my best at whatever shenanigans I get myself into.

A little birdie that I hold close to my heart! We sing songs together. :) And go adventuring, and look at pretty rocks, and climb lots of big rocks!

Energetic and always lifting my spirits! This birdie's friendship is a gift I'm so lucky I have. From the other side of the world to our own backyards, we've traveled through thick and thin together! :)

My lovely cousin from the Pacific West Coast! Even though we're separated by almost a whole country, her optimism and sweetness can be felt no matter how far she is :)

My dear cousin who has traveled the world, seen much, and experienced so much more..! She is a birdie I admire so much. :) Her health is most important, but even if she can't travel to NY to be there in person, she will absolutely be with us in spirit!

Dianne

This man got me through living in Florida for an entire year. We had so many wild experiences together. Most of them on our bikes, like blood mountain in North Georgia (and shenanigans in Peachtree City), road trip to the track in North Florida and being general hooligans around the Orlando area. He guided me in the ways of real sport riding, got me into track days and made me a much smarter and safer rider. I am very grateful to have him as a friend and motorcycle role model.

Paul and I met in high school, bonding over our weird nerdy interests. Computers, obscure humor, and generally weird personalities. He taught me how to be my goofy self. I'm so happy to be able to have him as part of my wedding party to bring back the weird.

Dougie is just a real genuine great human. Almost too humble for his own good. We work together at a BMW Motorcycle shop and having him there just makes work a better place to be. He is so considerate and puts everyone before himself. I want to show him how much of an impact that has made on me. 

Doug

My dad. Pops. A true inspiration for me. I truly admire the amount of hard work and sacrifices he has made to shape me into who I am today. I know it was difficult (I'm very contrarian) and took a massive effort, so for that I am thankful. My greatest role model.

WHAT WILL THE FOOD BE LIKE AT THE WEDDING?

Neither of us are picky eaters, and we love to cook at home together! I was raised in a Vietnamese household and cherish the food from my culture. Vietnamese food is an amazing confluence of southeast Asian staples, French gastronomy and the unique focus on herbs that result from Vietnam being a temperate coastal country on the edge of a tropical zone. Crafted Catering will be creating a Vietnamese-inspired barbeque with local upstate NY flavors, and we're so excited for you all to try it! Vietnamese tradition is also strongly rooted in community, so the food will be family-style -- there will be multiple entrees and sides at each table and everyone can take as much as their heart (and tummy!) desires.

Welcome to our home in upstate New York!

Ryan and I weren't born and raised here, but we chose to live and work here and we have, over time, built a little home for ourselves between the Catskill and Adirondack mountains. There is a lot of beauty both big and small to behold, whether we're on the top of a ridge or hiking along the edge of a lake! We're thankful to live where we are, and we want to share everything we love about our home turf with you! We hope that you travel all this way not just to share our special day with us, but to also find a lovely vacation and relax a little before heading back to your busy lives. There is much to do, whether it's hiking an easy trail, taking on a grueling challenge up one of the Adirondack peaks, or shopping in some cute local village shops. Take a mineral bath at the historic Saratoga Spas... or if you're a history buff, we highly recommend the Saratoga Battlefield State Park, which is the site of the turning point of the Revolutionary war -- the nation's victory here directly led to the outcome of independence for the United States of America! Anyway, we could talk forever but here are some pictures of our adventures upstate :)
