Our Wedding

Seri and Daniel both attended North Carolina State University beginning in 2019. Their paths crossed during the spring semester of their freshman year, where they both attended the&nbsp;NC State vs Duke basketball game. NC State won the matchup which led to the NC State tradition of students and fans rushing the bell tower. The two connected through one of Seri’s sorority sisters, who Daniel knew. When the festivities at the bell tower concluded, Daniel was kind enough to walk Seri and her friends back to their dorms. This left a good impression on Seri, which she would remember.&nbsp; Seri and Daniel reconnected during the spring semester of their Sophomore year. During this time, they developed a strong connection and began dating on May 1st, 2021.&nbsp; After 3 years of many adventures together, Daniel proposed to Seri at Lewis Botanical Garden in Richmond Virginia on March 23rd, 2024. They are excited for this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with their friends and family!

Dress code: Formal

We'd love to see everyone dress up for our big day! We love the timeless look of having all our guests following a semi-formal, all black attire dress code! We ask that our guests follow this dress code to fit our color scheme and help make our photos turn out timeless! Please refrain from wearing color. See below for examples. We want all our guests to have fun with this! If you have any questions at all, whether it's about the attire or need help deciding what to wear, please feel free to text Seri (704)402-8335

For men, this means black dress pants with a white or black dress shirt. A black sports coat, black suit, or a black tuxedos are optional but would be nice. Black tie or bow tie is also optional. Please refrain from wearing color. We would love to see you dress your best! See the pictures below for examples.

Women

For women, this means an all black dress! Preferably floor or tea-length dresses. We kindly ask that you keep these dresses plain black, without any color, but have fun with the style! We want to see you have fun with this and dress your best! See the pictures below for examples. Please text Seri if you have any questions at all!

FlyingIf you plan on flying, we recommend the Asheville Regional Airport.The drive from the airport to downtown Asheville is about 20 minutes. We recommend renting a car or scheduling an Uber. - ROOM BLOCK RATE IS AVAILABLE FOR DATES SHOWN ABOVE- You can book through the link directly or call the hotel and let the agent know the wedding name “Paquette/Hanes”- Guests will only be able to book directly for Friday through Sunday. You may receive a message that the room block is not available or is sold out if you try to book dates that are not contracted. If you would like to arrive earlier or depart later, please call Central Reservations or the hotel to extend their reservations.**You can extend and book an extra day on either side by calling**- For example: If your room block is contracted for Friday and Saturday nights and a guest tries to book their arrival on Thursday, they will receive a message that the block is not available.&nbsp;- If you receive a message that the room block is “sold out” please contact Seri at (704)402-8335

Ceremony & Reception

Chestnut RidgeCeremony: Please arrive by 3:30 PM, the ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM. If you are taking the shuttles, they will be picking up guests at the AC Hotel and leaving promptly at 3:00 PM to head to the venue. Reception to follow!

After Party
