It all began where we met for the first time at a house party at SUNY Cortland! Hours and hours spent talking and learning more about one another in our carefree, college days a few months before Josh graduated. Fast forward a few years later…

After Shannon graduated from Cortland, Josh reached out to her on her birthday! Four days later, after celebrating her birthday in NYC with college friends, Shannon found herself catching a last minute, packed train back home. After walking through multiple packed train cars with not one seat available, she finally spotted an empty seat in the back. As she got closer, she realized that that one empty seat was next to, out of all people in this world, Josh. After hours of catching up on the train, some flirting, and many “I cannot believe we ran into each other like this" comments - Josh asked if they could set up a real, more “planned” date. Before getting off the train, a stranger in front of them chimed into their conversation stating “Today was fate with you two coming together again and I hope to see you both again on the train, years from now, married with a family”.

Well… if only that stranger could see us now! From that point on - the rest has been history! And what an amazing history it has been.

We are so grateful that our worlds collided again that day and brought us together. The past 4+ years spent together have been filled with endless laughter, friendship, adventure, and pure love. We're so excited to be taking this next step in life together! We are so very thankful and beyond ecstatic to be sharing our love with all of you for our wedding! It will mark a new beautiful beginning to our next story to tell!
