Sonya and Christopher met in early 2014 through mutual friends in Sheboygan. They made it official on July 3rd, 2014. Long distance took its toll over the next 3 years and in 2017 Christopher asked Sonya to move to be with him in Madison. Christopher already knew it was forever, but made Sonya wait for the next 5 years to be engaged because of “responsible” reasons. Sonya and Christopher loved living in Madison, but a change in career caused a disruption. Christopher moved to Appleton in 2019 and Sonya soon followed. In late 2020 they purchased a house together and were engaged shortly after. On February 18th, 2022, during a snow squall Christopher proposed in Sister Bay, WI.
