Christopher and Lucas met in 2013 through a shared interest in everything Badger sports. They were both loud and that was enough to solidify their friendship. Lucas is Christopher's backpacking, footy, and drinking buddy. Lucas and Christopher continue to attend as many Badger sporting events as possible. After sporting events their favorite activity together is sitting around a nice oak table.

Mikaela had the privilege to come into Sonya's life in 2018 when they worked at McDonald's together. Their friendship blossomed explosively from the moment they met. Throughout Sonya and Mikaela's friendship she was able to witness the care and love Sonya and Christopher have for one another. Mikaela has been Sonya's best friend from the moment they met.

Justin and Christopher have known each other for approximately 24 years. They grew up down the street together and were inseparable as kids. They became Eagle Scouts together, attended the University of Wisconsin together, and now became Police Officers together.

Rachel and Christopher lived together in 2014 and found out they shared the same passion for Badger Hockey. Rachel graduated from the University of Wisconsin and is now attending an EMT academy. Outside of work she is a diehard Colorado Avalanche and Wisconsin Badger fan!

Ryan is Christopher's middle brother. He lives both in Madison and Minneapolis. After graduating from the UW-Madison, he is now studying to be an engineer at the University of Minnesota. He is following in the Allen tradition of never leaving college, but hopefully will graduate with his second Bachelor's Degree soon.

Victoria is Sonya's college best friend. They went to Madison College together, and they live the adage "the people you meet in college are your best friends for life." Distance has been no match for the pair and they remain close friends to this day!

Nicholas is Christopher's youngest brother. He lives in Minneapolis and works as a graphic designer. When asked to describe how he knew the couple, he responded "I think it's pretty obvious."

Lauren is the eldest Allen cousin. In true Allen tradition, she is a lawyer. Except Lauren was smart enough to practice in a warmer climate! Sonya and Lauren connected immediately and she has been a great friend to Sonya. A glimmer of hope in the otherwise overwhelming Allen family!
