ARAPAHOE BASIN SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Sight-Seeing:
Scenic Highway - Loveland Pass (driving)
Scenic Highway - Kenosha Pass


If you have a car, driving over Loveland Pass is a Must See. It's paved and has stunning views along the continental divide. You can also do an easy short hike to the small ponds if you enter “Pass Lake” into google maps. There is a small parking lot at the trail head.


Biking:

Vail Pass Bike Ride & Shuttle

Enjoy iconic views as you take a 14 mile downhill coast from the top of Vail Pass to Frisco. This is a great day adventure for all ages and abilities. Vail Pass Shuttle and Alpine Sports are the two companies that provide the Vail Pass Shuttle. It costs approximately $50, which includes your shuttle to the top of the pass, a bike rental for the entire day. Ride time is 3 hours 30 minutes on average. Most riders plan on 4 hours to do other activities along the way. Reservations are required. Visit their websites for more information:
