Black Mountain Lodge is close to a multitude of cute little towns that you can explore and find lodging. Feel free to find a hotel, AirBnB, VRBO, or any lodging accommodations EARLY (~Feb/Mar), since June 30 is a popular weekend. Keystone is the closest area to the venue, being less than 10 minutes away, Breckenridge is furthest away at 30 minutes. We visited all the areas, and our scientific observations are detailed below.

** Linh and Hieu's Lodging **

We will be staying on Tenderfoot Street in Dillon but will be hanging out a lot at Linh's family's AirBNB rental in Keystone.

The Pad Silverthorne

We don't have a block here but they have cool micro-rooms and container-rooms for ~$155+.

Keystone

5.5 miles, 9 minutes to venue.

Closest and is ski resort-like. There is a small walkable center with some restaurants and shops, but sparse.

Summit Cove

9.0 miles, 15 minutes to venue.

Quiet area with views of the lake. Mostly lodging and condos.

Dillon

11.5 miles, 17 minutes to venue.

Near the lake trail and amphitheater. Also mostly lodging and condos, but closer to shops and restaurants.

Silverthorne

13.5 miles, 20 minutes to venue.

Most shops and restaurants are located here. There is a small outlet mall and a quaint, cute street to walk down.

Frisco

15.5 miles, 25 minutes to venue.

Opposite of the lake, and similar to Silverthorne, but has a more small mountain town feel. Nice walkable area, lots of shops and restaurants.

Breckenridge

19.0 miles, 30 minutes to venue.

Furthest away, and also the largest of the nearby towns. Great main street walking, plenty of shops and restaurants.
