HER LOVE STORY:
One 2-minute introduction
One year-long, genuine friendship
One 2-second, enchanting look
One seemingly un-ending kiss, derailed all the plans I already had for a future that I thought I wanted.


The unraveling began in the parking lot of Westgate Resort on Turkey Lake Road in Orlando, Florida. That day when his hungry gaze unclasped my heart's lock, my entire spirit understood and relented but I tried to look away. He gently held my face and turned it back to his. I was fearful he would see right through me, into the desire that stole my breath away. He did! My eyes closed, involuntarily, my lips parted and I received a sensation much too intense, much too satisfying, to be called a kiss! I didn't know where he fitted into my future then, but I could not go on with my life without finding out. So, I gave myself permission to be swayed, and now I’m eternally happy!


I realized that the numerous days and nights we spent talking on the phone, via WhatsApp, via text; the many times we gave each other advice about our dreams, our future plans; the countless times we found ourselves a bit blue and took refuge in shared stories, we were creating a firm foundation for a love that was not supposed to be suppressed. The more we shared, the more we realized that we were perfect for each other. Resolved, we did the only thing that made sense at that time. We decided to take a leap of faith, risk the love we both were currently in, and start over together. After all, it was destiny interweaving us with each other!! There would be no regrets, there would be no looking back, no fighting against a force determined to claim each other's heart - it was inevitable.


Together, we have changed, and grown, and flourished. We have made many memories, explored many firsts, and secured each other's loyalties. What I admired most, and still admire about Jerry is his acceptance of who I am, his flexibility to become what I need him to be and even more so, the way he cares nothing about what people think of our relationship. His favorite line for me is "Babe, all I need is you. Once, my baby is happy, I'm happy!" And he means it too! All his actions and intentions reflect it. Jerry, I pledge to you my undying love, for all eternity!


HIS LOVE STORY:
It seems like eons ago, when she was the untouchable Ms. Brice, I would watch her walk to work in her 4-inch heels and I wished I could have a woman this classy, but she never once looked my way. I was timidly in awe of her! But when I finally was introduced to her and she received me so welcomingly, it was so refreshing. I still pinch myself sometimes, wondering, "Is this real?"


Well, if it isn't, please do not wake me up from this dream!


The moment she admonished, yes, she admonished me, saying, "Jerry, you NEED to have your own business. You're a one-man staff working for a company, bringing in all the money, and getting paid a fraction of that!", I knew this was the woman who would complete me. Past partners were terrified of me taking that risk, but this beautiful woman was bold, fearless and confident. Who could resist that? Numerous conversations later, she was building me a website and I was completely invested in the idea of me being a CEO. To this day, I am the CEO of my own thriving business.


Days and nights were incomplete if a greeting from her did not surface. When we spoke, I felt like the most distinguished man alive. She respected and understood me. To this day, I still feel like the most respected man alive. She openly expresses her love to me, and showcases it for the entire world to see. She is the most confident and self assured woman I know and I love that about her. She has presence, she's sexy, she's brilliant and I'm fortunate to be the man she chose. I have never known a love so full, so complete. Two years ago, with a heart filled with passion, pride and burning desire, I asked her to marry me and she said, "YES!" The way I felt that day......
That feeling will always remain, no matter life's vicissitudes.
As sure as the full moon brings yield, I am sure to fill her life with happiness and laughter. My heart belongs to her - her name is etched by the blood carried along the veins and arteries! Nyeusi, My Love, I promised to keep falling over, and over, and over, in love you with. Every day, twice on a Sunday! And even after death, my heart and your heart shall know no separation, for we will forever be ONE!!

"He lets me take up the entire bed and gives any part of his body for my comfort, AND, he makes the bed every morning!

How quickly and sincerely he applogizes.

He participates in all my shenanigans, as long as I keep smiling.

He started sitting down to pee on the toilet bowl after I redecorated his bathroom just so he doesn't spill and mess up my efforts.

He takes my fears seriously and he tries to eliminate every single one - He has killed so many lizards for me, and he goes to every extent to make sure they do not come near me. He repainted his entire house to make sure they have nowhere to camouflage. That's love!!!

He won't fall asleep like most men do when watching movies with their partners ( although if he's watching by himself he falls asleep in no time), so it shows that I'm his energizer.

He's flexible and always ready for adventure, no matter what."

"She makes sure that my clothes have the proper fit, everytime!! She has me looking SWEET!
She always tells me how good I look and how much I compliment her.

I love being around her because she makes me feel alive (I laugh a lot) and she reminds me how much life is worth living without saying a word.

Her lethal farts - I'm surprised I have no respiratory illnesses at this point.
Her way-too-long explanations for every small thing.
The way I have to listen to 69 stories to get to the real story.
The stubbornness that prevents her from seeing an opposing perspective and keeps her arguing and using the lines "In my defense....."

He never quite hit the laundry bin and he swears he does.
After he eats, he has a way of thinking he washed his plate when it is just sitting in the sink  - thank God he's gotten better.
Covering his whole face when I fat, even when it doesn't smell. That gets to me!

I am not perfect, so I will give you headaches sometimes, but I promise to always be the painkillers you will need to relieve them. Those headaches will never come from me being unfaithful.
I promise to always listen to your stories, even the boring ones, and especially to the ones that matter most to you; to laugh at your jokes and keep them coming. I promise to recognize how genuine our love is; to appreciate how soft it is - so soft that I can bouce on it like a cloud, yet at the same time, so solid that I never have to worry about my footing; to remember that the safest place for me is to be wrapped up within your love. I give the same kind of assurance to you moving forward. My love for you is stable - it will never falter!!

I promise to always be there for you and make sure you're happy and smiling; to create an environment where you're comfortable. I will kill every lizard for you if I have to. I promise to be a true keeper, to remain loyal, never creating situations where any other woman can disrespect you or belittle you. You will not have to worry about infidelity. I promise that you will always have a listening ear in me, I will patiently be attentive to all your stories and all your needs. You will never have to wonder where I am. With you, I promise to be an open book, always!
