Yolanda says, "Tamara is the spiritual sister I discovered only a few short years ago, but her friendship is so powerful, so pure and so genuine that I feel like I've known her all my life! When she's around me, I laugh a lot, I smile a lot and I talk a lot. Her bright, airy personality confirms each time how right my choice to sister up has been. My only regret is that I didn't know her sooner, but the years to come, which will plant her even deeper in my life, will resolve that. In Tamara, I have found a true friend and sister!!" Tamara says, "It is an impossible task to try to define the relationship I have with my beloved friend or rather my un-biological sister, because it is a relationship that all the words of the English language could do no justice to. Our spirits were always destined to be united and although she claims our meeting was my doing, the truth is it was solely a divine intervention that we met, and ‘WOW!!! What a journey thus far!’ She has fulfilled my every desire of wanting a sister. Unconditional love, compassion, respect, transparency and, of course, constant ego building are the principles of our relationship. She's the one who inspired me to work on my first wedding website because she was the first person I created one for. We both fell in love with our guy around the same time, and she was as giddy in love with her fiancé then as I feel with Jerry. I have watched her flourish and grow in love, and I am so happy for her. Our sentiments align." Viviana says, "We always know when it’s the right time or when we find the right person that we want to spend the rest of our lives with. You knew Jerry was THE ONE, and Jerry knew that it was time he meshed you with his soul. You two have complemented each other all too well, giving off all your splendor while, Jerry, his charm. It is evident that no matter how ill you are, Jerry’s voice or presence soothes that pain. And for Jerry, it does not matter what you say, it is the “Gods honest truth”, or whatever meal you prepare, it is the most scrumptious meal ever. Yolanda says, "Cheryl is my oldest full sister! Since I was a little girl, she has always influenced me, so she is the reason for me being the fashionable, trendy woman I am today. Yolanda says, "Carmela's spirit is one that is happy and uncaged. She feels free to do whatever she pleases and in that aspect, I aspire to having a marriage as happy and as free as she is. She only says no when I need to hear 'no" for my own growth and development! I am blessed to have her as my own protégé and I am proud of the woman she is! She patterned her entire professional life after me, then she became better than me! What a sister!! Shanna says, "As I reflect on the countless precious sister-moments we have shared and look forward to sharing this glorious day with you, let me say….THE QUEEN HAS FINALLY MET HER KING. I could not get married without my prescious brother's presence and his memorable sense of humor!" Patrick says, "My brother Jerry. What a fantastic and confident step you've now taken to write your own history as part of the Brice family. As I have witnessed first-hard, you've loved, you've laughed, you've comforted, you've cheered, you've sacrificed, and now you've given your heart to one of the most phenomenal woman Earth has ever produced. Yolanda - she is called by name - but there's neither a word nor a phrase that can even come close to describing this gem of a lady. What's more amazing is that she's found you, who have really complimented her and have helped her fulfill and express her true emotions of love, happiness, and companionship. I learned a lot about the kind of lover and husband I wanted by appreciating his relationship as it bloomed and flourished. I had a great example! Jerry says, "Earl has been a friend to me for a very long time. He's considerate and caring and it shows by him frequently checking in to make sure I don't need anything. His favorite line to me is, 'Pardna, si ou bwiseh mwen, mwen la eh. Ou sa muhday mwen pou uhyehn ou vlay.' So when I needed a groomsman, I turned to him, asked him and he said yes, immediately! Earl said, "Jerry, you are a friend, but you act more like a brother to me. You are always there with a word of encouragement and support when I'm going through something. You are a man true to your word. You're funny, helpful, dependable, and family oriented. Congratulations on your special day!!"

Jerry says, "This cousin and long-time friend has had my back from birth. We have lived, played and laughed together. Gils is the most supportive family member anyone could ask for, and it's a pleasure to have him on my team." Yolanda says, "Our relationship started as cousins, evolved through classmates and then came full circle back to cousins and, of course, friends. I love Adela, and I admire her strength and resilience. What I love most about her is the way she mothers her children, with love, patience and faith. As she begins her '2nd youth' I want her positive outlook to influence my union with Jerry. These are all the reasons why I chose her to be a part of my JERZA!! Adela says, "As cousins who were born in the same year - I would like to think we met at a very young age by spending time together during summer holidays at Mam’s house, playing ring games under the moonlight - that would be the beginning of a wonderful “cousinship.”The Jerza’s! Yolanda says, "When you've had over 25 years of friendship with someone whose laugh still sounds like a Whitney Houston note, you know the relationship is valuable! Our trips to the clubs, drinking Long Island Iced Teas, have ceased, and we don't see each other that often, but our friendship continues. Thank you, girlfriend, for always being in my corner and for the REAL conversations and fun times!" Sharmain says, "I was blessed to meet Yolanda at Teachers Training College during my first year, which started our decades long friendship. We quickly become fast friends studying together and commiserating over the men in our lives. Yolanda is the one who brings the fun and gets the conversation going at any gathering. On any random day, if I call her when I am down, then I will be laughing before the call ends. Yolanda is someone who does not wait for life to happen to her but makes life happen! Yolanda says, "Dayj, as I affectionately call her, struck me first with her beauty and her determination. Then, I got to see her phenomenal brain. Seeing a young girl so driven, so intelligent, so goal-oriented, made me want to do anything for her, so making her my niece was very rewarding. I have watched her plan indefatigably to get into the college of her choice, acquire every scholarship and fellowship available, and now, she has graduated and is well on her way to becoming the state-of-the-art Dr. Jackson-Antrum! A perfect addition for my entire party to draw inspiration from. She is a young lady for whom I have perfect admiration!" Ladaysia says, "Hello everyone! My name is Ladaysia Jackson- Antrum and I am a junior bridesmaid. As a teenager, I had a burning desire to learn how to braid. I would spend hours practicing on myself but could never get it quite right. After months of trying on my own, my mother brought me to Ms. Simmons’ home to observe her work. I thought I would learn a few tips on braiding, but little did I know I would gain an aunt for life. From that moment, Ms. Simmons has taken me under her wing. She has supported me in every way, from sending encouraging messages to writing recommendation letters for college. Ms. Simmons has poured so much love and positivity into me that it is only right that I reciprocate her beautiful energy. I am delighted that she has found the man of her dreams. I am honored to be a part of this celebration of love!"

Yolanda says, "Che is one of three of my un-birthed daughters. I love her! My trips to St. Lucia would not be complete without my niece accompanying me to every beach or resort excursion, every Sulphur Springs visit, every jour overt! When I met her Uncle Jerry, she warned me not to let him take her place, but love took over and we were inseparable. However, Che's place in my heart has not been reoccupied by anyone, and never will be! Che, your place as my daughter will always supercede your place as my niece, and God knows that you belonged in the biggest celebration of my love." Che says, "As for me, I have been really close to my aunt since I was young. She’s the one who introduced me to "dwivaying". The moment I heard Aunty Elza coming I’m excited because I knew I’d be outside every single day of her vacation. As soon as she puts one side of her heels on, I’m finding my slippers. Fast forward to the part where Uncle Jerry stole my spot....Aunty Yolanda, I can’t say much since he makes you happier than I do, but I wish you guys all the best. I do see that Uncle Jerry brings out the best in you. You guys were made for each other, except for the fact that he’s not scared of lizards. I’m so happy that I get to celebrate this day with you guys. I wish you guys lots of happiness and nothing but a long and happy marriage. Yolanda says, "Celina's love is made of "girlfriend" quality. Though I have known her all my life as my sister's (Cheryl) classmate, I really got to see who Celina was as Leona's friend. 'I love, you, Girlfriend,' popped out of her mouth often, and that infectious laugh usually accompanied it. I saw true love, true friendship so rare, so when it dawned on me that I loved her too, I was not the least surprised. Girlfriend was happy to share her heart with me, too, and I flourish in it. Naturally, she's part of my crew!" Celina says, "I have known Elza from back home, Micoud, as a teacher and hairdresser. She's beautiful , intelligent, friendly, jovial and definitely a fashionista. Now that Jerry has connected to her, I love how the JERZA couple express their genuine love for each other. It is especially refreshing to see them at social events and when traveling together. Yolanda says, "A poet and literary expressor like myself, Hermina is my much admired creative Goddess! Her uniqueness, her sense of fashion and her bold style are all things that confirm that both of us are cut from the same cloth. Like me, when my cousin enters a room, the people seem to stand at attention! I love that about her! Although we frequently butt heads, because of our stubborn, take-charge nature, our love, contagious moments and happy times always mellow us out. I would not replace her with anyone! Jerry says, "This man right here has been my friend since we were teenagers. We have made many memories , shared many laughs and been like brothers to each other. Jerry says, "Since I met Daryl as a co-worker, we have always been able to share ideas to broaden our craft, both in a professional and social capacity. He's someone who can squash my doubts and boost my confidence by always letting me know how capable I am. Our affectionate name for each other, 'Boog' only confirms the scope of our relationship. I'm glad that he so readily accepted my proposal of being a groomsman." Daryl says, "I first met Jerry back in 2008 on St. Croix. I decided I wanted to be an A/C technician, so I walked into the local AC shop and asked the owner for a "job" with zero experience. Lol. He called me back a couple hours later and I was hired on the spot. Not long after he hired Jerry, and I was fortunate enough to be paired with him. He had just returned from school in New York and had gotten a job at Caribbean Cooling. From day one, Jerry shared everything he knew about the trade with me. Never hiding information or judging me - just freely sharing his expertise. I mean, the man just came out of school, with debt, and he was more than willing to share his knowledge with some random person who had no idea what they were getting themselves into. Fast forward all these years later, I have a career as an HVAC tech which allows me to take care of my family. It is safe to say that without Jerry, I would not be where I am today, and for that I am forever grateful. That is the kind of person Jerry is.....selfless and willing to help in any way he can without ever wanting anything in return. He always talked about moving 'states side' and I used to tell him that we should. He thought he would leave before me until I came to work and told him my ticket had been bought. 😂😂. I knew he wouldn't be far behind.I am very grateful to have met you, boog, and everything you have in life you more than deserve. Continue to be a blessing to others, especially to your wife. Jerry says, "This, right here, is my guy. We grew up together since around age 13, and between cooking up junk like cocopie and guava jam, and pushing our caboway, we grew a strong friendship. When I moved to New York, Ronald, whom I call Surge, was the first guy who opened his house to me. I will never forget his friendship and generosity, not to mention the blood bond we share as cousins. Thank you for accepting this role, Cuz!" Ronald says, "Jerry and I are best friends and cousins. I have known him all my life, we lived next to each other and attended school together. We spent a lot of our childhood together doing fun-filled activities such as going to the river, fruits picking, playing cricket on the street, hunting birds and our favorite activities riding our homemade Kabuway down the hill next to our residence. Jerry and I have kept in touch over the years, sharing the various transitioning of our lives. Yolanda says, "Tisha hates when I said it, but my first and lasting memory of her is as a fighter, in the 4th grade, one stone in each hand, always promising to "show" somebody how tough she is. Watching her grow and transform into a mature human being and a protective mother was an absolute moment of pride! She has become a sister to every single one of my sisters, including me. I am ecstatic that she has agreed to serve me. I am grateful." Tisha says, "I knew you through your last sister Viviana. I used to come around as a young teenager but we clicked when I moved to the US. We became even closer when you started doing my hair. You were the one who started my locs. I enjoyed hanging around you because you always gave me the best advice. With you, there's always a push…..you inspire anyone you get close too. I-ve always admired your drive to do better and to be better. I admire the love you have for your siblings and children. That's why it’s such a pleasure being asked to be a part of your bridal party. Yolanda says, "Christine is the only friend I've had for over 30 years with whom I've never had a single disagreement, who I can talk to openly and honestly, who I can give advice to and take advice from without judgement, only respect! Yolanda says, "A divine intervention introduced me to Andy, even though she thinks that it was a mutual friend who brought us together. The wave of admiration I felt for this fierce, unparalleled female leader in Brooklyn as she interviewed me for a position at the school that she managed was indescribable. I had not yet come across a leader so knowledgeable, so resourceful, so giving to her staff, so the respect I felt for her quickly yielded love and sisterhood. It was not long before she became part of the large family I already had. We have so much in common, and it feels as if our blood has burned together all our lives. My wedding day feels complete knowing that I will have her by my side when I say, "I do!"" Andy says, "I met Yolanda when I shared on Facebook that I was in need of a teacher… little did I know I was getting more than what I asked for. Yolanda came into both my professional and my personal life in a way that words truly can’t explain. She is the older sister who challenges me to be a better person, mother and friend. Yolanda’s presence has multiplied our family as she and I have bonded as sisters who were separated at birth, who found each other later on in life. My mother went from having two children to now having 12 and a tribe of grandchildren. We bonded over our love of travel, good food, her love for doing hair (I hate to comb my hair), our love of science, and wanting to change children’s love of education.
