Jerry and I fell in love somewhere along the way while we were having pleasant conversations. I cannot say exactly when or where we started to fulfill the divine purpose that would make us soulmates, but I do remember where we shared our first kiss! I was visiting Florida and he offered to pick me up at the airport and take me to my hotel - Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa at 9500 Turkey Lake Road in Orlando. After dropping me off he promised to return to enjoy my company the following night. He kept his promise and when he got there, we just vibed at one of the hotel bars. He drank Jameson and Club Soda while I sipped on Baileys Irish Cream. Both elated and animated by each other, we left and walked to his Tacoma truck in the parking lot, in which we sat, not long after, and continued talking. We simply did not want to leave each other's company that night. Before long, there was a glaze in Jerry's eyes and I felt myself becoming enchanted so I looked away. Apparently, he saw the same fire in my eyes, because he reached over, turned my face back to his, and in that moment, there was no turning back. With an indescribable force, we kissed! It was the most intense kiss I had ever experienced. After that, there was no way for me to walk away from a sensation so intense. I fell in love!!!!
This is one of the reasons why I chose Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa as a place to stay. Hopefully, magic will hit again a second time for one of my guests.

***Unfortunaty, because our wedding had to be moved, Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa is a bit further away from the new venue so choose only if you are willing to drive a bit of a distance (about an hour).

All Group guest reservations require a minimum deposit equal to one (1) night’s room & tax to be charged on a major credit card. Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Each reservation for which the required deposit has been received is guaranteed for late arrival from the up until 11:59PM of the scheduled Check-In Date. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. A late-departure charge may apply for any room(s) occupied after the scheduled check-out time. Payment & Cancellation Policy: Final payment for all Reservations is due upon check-in. A security deposit equal to a fifty-dollar ($50) credit card hold or two-hundred dollars ($200) cash deposit is required at check-in for each Reservation to cover any incidentals. This amount is fully refundable upon check-out if no incidentals are charged and there is no room damage. Cancellations for individual reservations must be made seventy-two (72) hours prior to the first check-in date to avoid payment of a penalty in an amount equal to the cost of one (1) night’s room and applicable taxes. Deposits are refundable if you cancel prior to the seventy-two (72) hour cancellation window. All rates are in US dollars.

Securing accomodations with room block rates was discontinued since there are many accommodations close to the venue, with rates similar, or even better than what is offered. So many of those here do not have a code but are available for booking.

But the wedding is during the summer and hotels will be filling up quickly. Please book early to avoid rate hikes due to demand. We do not want you to be left out in the cold....or heat ;-)
