The UP is one of the more remote areas of the country. Many of you are traveling from urban areas and will be in for a culture shock.
- Cell phone service, especially on AT&T and T-Mobile is spotty. You should not expect to have phone service everywhere you go.
- There are stores to pick up items in Curtis and Newberry and Moose du Nord on County Road 98 near CR-135. Most stores close by 9 p.m.
- Gas stations are not open late; you can travel 20 miles without passing one. Do not let your gas tank get near empty.
- There are more deer than people. Please keep an eye out while driving, especially after dark.
- The UP is one of the country's most beautiful areas, so please enjoy it!

Do it ASAP
Go to google.com/flights and set up an alert for your desired travel dates. We recommend booking a flight with carry-on luggage included in the fare so there are no surprises. Feel free to reach out to CJ with travel questions.
Depending on your origin, the airfare will be between $250 and $800, depending on when you book and the dates you select.
Setting up a flight alert is crucial so you do not miss the deals.
