Mission Fund Pete travels abroad annually to support hospitals and teach anesthesia techniques to staff, allowing them to provide better care in their communities. Your support will fund missions and purchase better equipment gifted to the hospitals.
Access for Underprivileged Youth Two orgs close to CJ's heart are 518Elevated (Formerly Capital Region Sponsor A Scholar) and My Hood My Block My City. CJ was a scholar in high school and received mentorship and a scholarship after each completed semester. Your donations will help their work, focusing on students needing resources. The second program is My Hood My Block My City, which focuses on Chicago's youth and making them aware of more than just their neighborhoods with trips to downtown and other neighborhoods to experience all of Chicago. Changing the world for the better starts by investing in the future.
Travel Fund Everyone knows that we are travelers in our core and we plan on keeping up with our trips as we start our lives together. We will happily share postcards/trinkets from our travels. We love this idea as it serves as a reminder of how you've helped us get here in life while keeping you connected with our new experiences.
