John is born!

Haley is born!

John and Haley meet one fateful day at Rollins College, where Haley was a sophomore after transferring from the University of Georgia, and John was competing in an intercollegiate wakeboarding contest for the University of Florida during his senior year. They were introduced by a mutual friend, and when John first saw Haley, he says it was love at first sight. Haley, however, needed a bit more convincing, as John was standing there, soaking wet in the cargo shorts he had just competed in—apparently, he forgot to bring a bathing suit! Not caring what he wears has always been part of his charm!

Shortly after meeting, John and Haley went on their first date to Jeremiah's ice cream shop in Winter Park, FL. Haley somehow managed to talk the entire time AND finish her entire large ice cream. John was in love and so was Haley.

Haley brought John to Naples only a few short weeks after meeting, knowing that he was probably "the one." Ron and Debbie immediately loved him and easily welcomed him into the "nerd herd." Ron was thrilled to have another fellow nerd joining the group.

John and Haley made it "official" in January and settled into a routine of driving 111 miles each way to each other at their colleges every weekend- a tradition they continued for the next three years of undergrad! Haley put a lot of miles on her car during those years. Haley eventually became an unofficial roommate at the Dojo, John's Surf Club house, a retired karate dojo. Most people realized how much Haley loved John when they saw she was willing to spend her time in that house. Haley fondly recalls all the critters that lived in the Dojo- both human and insect alike.

Haley finally met the Wilson crew in Stuart, FL over Easter weekend and quickly fell in love with John's large and fun family. Little did either of them know that six years later, they would also make Stuart their home. The following weekend, Haley was introduced to the extended Wilson family at a wedding. She's still trying to remember everyone's name.

Haley and John sadly spent their first summer as a couple far apart for internships. Haley went to Syndey, Australia for an internship with the Sydney Film Festival, while John headed to Memphis, Tennessee for an internship with Jabil. Haley remembers texting her two childhood friends saying, "I think I'm going to marry this guy." It would only take a short 9 years later to do so!

Reunited at last!! Haley, very homesick, came back from Australia two weeks early and was surprised by John at the airport in Bozeman, Montana. This was John's first trip out west, and little did he know it would also become his future home!

John and Haley have an awesome first year together and an even better football season in the Swamp. Haley was in her junior year, and John was in his 5th year of the UF industrial engineering program. Haley is starting to realize that the mustache is there to stay...

Haley drove up to St Pete Beach the day after Thanksgiving to finally meet all of John's SPB childhood friends!!

Haley gets to attend her second Wilson Stuart Easter!!

John and Haley were separated again for the summer as John went to LA for an internship with Street League Skateboarding and Dyrdek Machine, while Haley stayed in Orlando for an internship with Wiley Publishing. Thankfully, Haley made the trip out to see John and they celebrated her 21st birthday in Santa Monica!

Haley begins her senior year of undergrad and John starts his first year in the UF MBA program.

Haley graduates from Rollins College but skipped her graduation to embark on an epic cross-country road trip with John and her good friend, Jessica Ogden.

John and Haley spend their first summer together after 2.5 years! They both landed internships in LA and moved into a house in Venice Beach for the summer.

In a wild turn of events, Haley graduated college only to end up in the UF freshman dorm, where John was starting his second year as the graduate hall director- King of the RAs! They lived comfortably in a one-bedroom apartment while John finished his second year of his MBA program and Haley started her UF Master's in Digital Marketing program.

John officially achieves double gator status and graduates with his MBA from UF. Shortly after, Haley receives a job offer from Google in NYC. Off to the Big Apple they went!

John and Haley start their grand adventure in New York City!

Covid strikes! Haley and John fly to Bozeman for a one-week ski trip and never leave...

John and Haley head back to Bozeman, crying with happiness that their 1+ year remodel project was over. Party time!
