No one is quite sure when Allie & Justin first met. The kitchen of an apartment party? A post-work haunt in Murray Hill? A Friendsgiving? It’s a story lost to time.

Allie was living in Hell’s Kitchen with college girlfriends from the University of Pennsylvania and working her first job at Morgan Stanley. Justin left the University of Michigan for a training program at Deutsche Bank where he met co-trainee Kate, one of Allie’s roommates. Back in New York, the two groups met up socially.

Justin & Allie kept their distance at first, but the slow-burn increased in temperature in 2019. There were some snickers when Justin asked for Allie’s phone number. A late night kiss on Bleecker street. Butterflies when they knew the night’s plans would involve each other.

Allie & Justin were determined to proceed cautiously in their budding romance. I mean, she was cute, but what would happen to their mutual friend group? Was he tall enough?

The trepidation turned out (of course) to be no match for mutual attraction. Trips to the Penn girls' Jersey Shore summer house, an official first date and a party to ring in the new year followed. There was an easy compatibility, but also a deeper connection between two empathetic and motivated people. Justin grew to love Allies’ quick excitement, her dedication to friends & family, and her drive. Allie loves Justin’s smile, his commitment to finding fun in every situation and the patience he shows while she tries to keep up with him on the ski mountain.

Allison Emily Cohen was born & raised in Woodbury, Long Island and the town hasn’t ever been the same. Multi-sport athlete, theater kid, model congresswoman, class president - Justin’s intimidated whenever he’s in the Long Island house.

Justin Francis Meyer grew up in Wilmette, Illinois - with days spent skating in the homemade hockey rink in the backyard and evenings spent editing the front page of New Trier High School’s newspaper.

The couple has built their relationship in Manhattan, at Allie’s house in Long Island and at the Meyer’s house in Steamboat, where they hope you’ll join them this fall.
