Denver International Airport (DEN, or DIA) is the main airport in Colorado and is approximately a 2 hour and 15-minute drive from Beaver Creek, CO. If you are traveling to Colorado for the wedding weekend, you can fly into DEN and then drive to Beaver Creek (see transportation information below). Another option would be to fly into DEN and then fly from DEN to Eagle County Airport. Eagle County Airport is only a 30-minute drive to Beaver Creek, CO. You can also fly directly into Eagle County Airport from most cities (see details below).

Eagle County Airport (EGE) is the closest airport to Vail and Beaver Creek. The airport is 25 miles away (about a 30-minute drive) and the drive doesn't involve driving through any mountain passes. You can fly directly into EGE from most airports. If you can't fly directly into EGE from where you live, you can likely fly into DEN and then from DEN to EGE.

Note: Ride-share apps such as Uber or Lyft can provide transportation to Beaver Creek from the Denver International Airport (DEN), however, they tend to be very expensive due to the distance! Our recommendation would be to utilize the discounted shuttle rates (see below) for transportation to/from the airport if you are flying into DEN, or to rent a car. If you are flying into Eagle County Airport, Ubers and Lyfts are much more reasonable given that the ride is only about 30 minutes.

The site will then prompt you to enter your flight information, and from there, the website will take you through the process to secure shuttle transportation. Free on-demand shuttle services are provided throughout the Beaver Creek village. The shuttles are available from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM daily. Use the website link below to download the Village Connect app to your phone. You can then use the app to request transportation services within Beaver Creek. Once requested, shuttles typically arrive within 5-15 minutes.

As stated on the Q&A page, the village connect buses only run within the Beaver Creek village proper and will not pick up from or take you to spots outside of the village. There are separate buses that will take you from the "Elk Lot" in the village to spots outside of the gates, but this is an entirely separate bus system from the village connect (see below for avon transit information). Please plan accordingly if you are lodging outside of Beaver Creek village proper!

Avon is located right outside of Beaver Creek and has lots of reasonable hotels and other lodging options. This is a great way to stay close to the village if you choose to not stay within the Beaver Creek resort. Avon has a public bus system that runs from 6:30 AM to 10 PM each day. The bus will take you to the "Elk Lot" (which is a large bus station within the Beaver Creek village) and from there, you can use the Village Connect app or the Beaver Creek bus system to go wherever you'd like within the gates.
