Eric set up the audio for our ceremony, which was a seamless experience, then played music and handled speeches for our cocktail hour and reception. We loved the vintage microphone he used for speeches.

Because our wedding was held during the week, we were able to take advantage of a midweek discount, which was a huge blessing. But even at full price, Eric would have been worth every penny. He was responsive, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to meet every single request we had.
During the wedding itself, Eric brought the perfect balance of professionalism and fun. The energy he brought to the room was amazing, and he kept the atmosphere lively and upbeat all night long. The dance floor was packed from start to finish—something you always hope for but can’t guarantee unless you have the right DJ. Eric was that DJ!
He has such a great presence—fun, upbeat, and totally in tune with the crowd. The way he introduced our wedding party and announced guests was done with such excitement and flair. It felt classy but never stiff, and totally fit the joyful vibe of the evening. He also helped us stay on schedule without making the night feel rushed at all.
At one point, we were trying to coordinate table photos with guests, which could’ve been awkward or chaotic, but Eric made it feel fun and smooth. He handled transitions beautifully and kept the entire night flowing effortlessly.
We didn’t end up using the Photo Booth or special lighting options he offers, but I’m certain those would’ve been amazing too—just based on the quality and care he brought to everything else.
Eric’s joyful, can-do spirit and skill behind the mic made him an essential part of our celebration. He far exceeded our expectations, and we are so grateful for the way he helped make our daughter’s wedding truly unforgettable.

He was very thorough in the planning part of the process, and he met with us multiple times to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He did the sound/music both for our wedding ceremony and for our reception, and everything went even more smoothly than I thought possible. During the reception, he was great at MC’ing and reading the crowd when selecting the songs. It was the little touches too that really stood out to us, like how he played a few extra songs for us at the end of the night when we were still all having so much fun on the dance floor. a DJ does than just playing music for the reception. He had the organization down pat. Day of was seamless. We had our whole wedding at the same venue, but in three different areas. Michael had each area set & ready to go with zero interruptions to get from one to the other. The first, F/D & M/S dances were timed perfectly and faded out when needed - seeming like the song always sounded this way. For the dancing portion of the evening, Michael created the only problem you'll ever want to have at a wedding - not having rented a big enough dance floor. We had many discussions about type of music leading up to, and he always was on the same page. Michael created an incredible environment for fun. The dance floor was packed all night! Periodically, he'd check in with us if there was anything he could specifically play, and neither my husband nor I could think of anything better! Michael was truly killing it. Receiving a thumb drive of all of our music was the icing on the cake! It will help us relive the day over & over for years to come.

ed yet highly professional demeanor. He immediately understood our music style, as well as what we meant when we stipulated no cheesy or over-played wedding music. He gave us a great deal on doing both the ceremony and reception music, as well as being the emcee for the evening. He kept in touch with us throughout the year of planning to make sure we were doing okay and help with other vendor recommendations. He had a detailed survey that helped us plan the music for the ceremony and several special moments throughout the ceremony (introductions, first dances, cake cutting, etc). We were able to incorporate songs from many of the artists we had seen in concert together, which made it so meaningful.
Prior to the wedding Eric sent a detailed timeline for that day to make sure we fit everything in and had plenty of time at the end for open dancing. Very sadly Eric had a major family emergency come up the day before our wedding and could no longer be our DJ. He was able to quickly activate the DJ backup plan within his company though, and Evan immediately stepped in to cover. Evan had all of the information with had sent and talked about with Eric and did a phenomenal job. The ceremony went smoothly and the dance floor was full all night. I had so much fun and so did my (now husband)! So glad with went with All Around Raleigh DJ for our wedding!

He was laidback and easy to work with and always had a smile on his face - unlike some DJs we saw at bridal shows who tried too hard to push their services, we never felt pressured, and Eric didn't need to convince us that he was the right choice - his experience and personality as well as fantastic reviews (including from a trusted friend) made it an easy choice. He was always really helpful and responsive whenever we had questions, and took time to understand the kind of music we liked and to personalize things for us. He had some great ideas/suggestions for things that made our night even more special. One example was that we were thinking about doing an anniversary dance - he suggested finding out who was married the longest, which turned out to be my parents, and playing their first dance song - this made them so happy. He even made last minute changes to the ceremony music at our request less than 24 hours out. He helped to make sure the night ran smoothly and that everyone was having fun and dancing!
